How big were the variations? Any chance you have the photos of all of the PPFs next to each other. Would be curious. They are rounded like the gen. There are variations in the PPF dials as well, we found a very nice base in this specific dial

I think the period correct point is a very good one -- we are down to very minor details, and the boxed dial on a 324 caliber makes the 5711 need to be year 2018 (bc 2019 got a new movement and 2017 / earlier didn't have the boxed dial). So while we're on the smallest of details, we need to match whatever gen dial color was in 2018.The colour of the PPF v4 already nearly perfectly matches that of the older generation 5711 dials imo. My only gripe is that the “box logo” paired with the PPF’s colour may be period incorrect based on the small sample size of gen dials I’ve seen but it’s really a small thing and even gens are made in different batches, so who is to say?
Let me see if i can find some work photosHow big were the variations? Any chance you have the photos of all of the PPFs next to each other. Would be curious.
Many thanks. That would be great.Let me see if i can find some work photos
I'd be most grateful if you could make and post a short video about your finished watches (the one with a gen dial and the other with a modded PPFv4 dial) side by side.Let me see if i can find some work photos

Modded ppf v4.What Dial is this ?
Looks really great -- which mods? Color adjustment, beveling markers, and white gold plating?Modded ppf v4.
Bevelling and polishing of markers and relume. Colour is untouched, the dial is that good.Looks really great -- which mods? Color adjustment, beveling markers, and white gold plating?
One of my favourite dials is the PPFv4 blue 5711. Nevertheless, I like Buff's a bit more because I can see more colors and shades in it and I love its somehow exaggerated metallic sunburst.Bevelling and polishing of markers and relume. Colour is untouched, the dial is that good.
If going for closest to gen, ppf v4. But I can understand why you like the buff more. Much more vibrant than both the ppf and gen dial. One of my favourite dials is the PPFv4 blue 5711. Haha, I wish I had a chance of seeing some gen dial variants personally at least once in my life. This way I might come to the final conclusion about which gen or rep dial is The One for me. However, I suspect my conclusion would be the same as concerning ladies: only The Many exist not The One. Just don't tell my wife...If going for closest to gen, ppf v4. This is a bezel modded by @Spongebob:there are at least 3 variations of the Buff dial, I think in the lot of mine they used the same base used by some PPF V4. I show you some photos where the # 1 is the Buff dial I chose for my build

Here inside watch 3KF with Buff hands and Buff DW. Now I would like to modify the bezel but I am afraid that hand made it will not be precise, the irregular shape seems to me impossible to modify perfectly. PLEASE ADVICE ME))
