Looks good. The date font is a little thin. The case/polishing/crown width no one will notice unless comparing next to the gen, and even then probably not. The truth is that most people don't know what a Patek is, the few that do never held a Patek in-person, and the very few that held a Patek (or the .000001% that own one) don't spend time reading RWI to know that the angle of the polish on the lugs is imperfect.

In short, no one you run into in real life will distinguish this from a gen as long as your lifestyle affords such a timepiece, and you don't take it off to display the movement to someone proficient in high-end watches.

IMO, for the price the white 3KF delivers on most counts. I ordered the 3KF with an SWF green dial, but sometimes wish I would've just saved the time and money and ordered a stock white dial.
I think for most people, stock 3kf would suffice. Not many people know about patek let alone know tells of a rep. Probably do a buff dial and datewheel swap for your own satisfaction but from arms length the stock 3kf is totally fine.

for different periods different widths of the bevel on the lugs were common. (compare pre-PP-seal and Geneva-seal finishing approach)

That's one reason you'll find different profiles of the polished parts.

What could be Happyyeren's other concern is the step from the top down the curvature - it is nicely rounded on the gen and earlier reps without the sharp edge towards the end link.

PPF had the same issue back in the day - the first two batches were beautifully finished (leave the typical issues alone) and then it got worse with the harsh step resembling the Royal Oak case rather than the organic lines of the nautilus.
Thank you very much for your detailed information. That is very interesting and helps a lot.
May I ask you for your perhaps brutally honest opinion about this case rework and what could be done better/ could be improved:

Your build is immaculate and i would not change a thing. The dial will also affect the overall appearance but the proportions and the finishing of all the bevels is very well done indeed.

Your watch is the perfect example what is wrong with the latest stock 3KF as your lugs fade beautifully into the curvature with no harsh edges. Organic as it should be.

But bear in mind that those are just my 2cents ;-)

Thank you for your professional assessment of the work. I am glad to hear that there is not much more to change or improve and I hope that we are on the right track with this built. Of course rep will always be rep and will not reach the class of the original, but the exciting thing about modding is to try to get as close as possible to the gen.
Base is a stock 3KF. I had also asked the modder to define the lower arches/curves of the lugs more and make them a little more pointed, as this corresponds to the gen and the 3KF stock version is more rounded than pointed. See photo.

That brush work is fantastic. Big props to him as a hobbyist and it shows what's possible on a regular 3KF case. Looks professional IMO and I aspire to be able to approach that level of work.

Crown is pretty much perfect on 3KF (maybe you confuse with PPF which is known for a protruding crown?).

I had three 3KF and the clone movement is great. Runs perfectly, no issues. I even had it checked by Domi and he also says it’s a very good movement.
I personally have had a very good experience with the 3KF movements: they run well and are easy to service. One problem I had to deal with on two watches was a cracked jewel …

I have just ordered the 3KF white dial. It’s not in stock. The TD doesn’t know when it will be. Anyone experiencing the same?

In my opinion the big problem is that the crown / crown guards and shape of ear are always completely wrong. This fake can be spotted from 2 meters of distance.. they focused on details that remain wrong and didn’t fix the crown.. 🤬

How common are small marker misalignments on the 3KF? Trying to decide if it's worth red-lighting this one due to the gap in the 12'oclock marker, or if it's common enough to accept. This is the second example I've gotten and the first had a skewed 6'oclock marker. Surprised because I haven't noticed alignment issues in the ones you all have posted.
