I have however tried email and contact thru mutual friends and it all goes no where.
SMIDS, didn't you have a phone number for him at his UNI office? Try that first before you send someone round.

Try this .... Send him an email from a new address (create a temp google or yahoo one if need be). In that email let him know that your patience is at an end, and if the matter is not resolved quickly, you will be contacting an old friend who happens to work for the IRS. Don't go into details, just say you have decided to do this because at least you will know that he will never treat another customer like he treated you, after dealing with them.
Even if all his business is on the up and up, the thought of an IRS audit will probably give him many sleepless nights ... but I'd bet he's not reporting a lot of that extra rep work, which will make him even more nervous.
If you actually happen to have contacts in the IRS, even better (trust me, a visit from a RevCan ... I mean IRS official is even more effective than breaking limbs).

Ya, all to no avail. I just sent him yet another email so lets see what happens this time.
I should add that the guy has not been well but that does not excuse a total lack of comms.

In that case ignore my previous post, as taking that route with someone ill would add extreme stress to their already bad health situation ...
What I find to be very odd is that another member has managed to get his watch relumed during all of this, even while mentioning the known problem during his transaction .
erm but He isn't ill....? From what Ii heard he lost a family member. I honestly gave him my full sympathy I emailed him my condolences.... but does not explain why no contact for months.....
Have you checked to make sure his emails haven't started to be marked as SPAM by your provider?

SMIDS, you are minister and you are telling me that you have no conception of the fact that illness can follow the death of a family member? Don't they teach you about such things any more?
I am all for giving people all the chances they need, I'm all for giving Kent the benefit of the doubt but remember silence since July stretches even my tolerance....

However as I have said on the email to him all I wanted was some sign of life and he could take as long as he needs.
The first thing I did when you told me of his loss was send him my condolences and apologise for chasing him so much.
Having seen too many people loose relatives yes this has crossed my path before.... usually however the person at least will speak to me

Credit where credit is due... I have no idea how Col managed it but for the first time since July Kent emailed me!

Ok this has finally been resolved. thanks to Admin I finally got my watch back - admittedly with ah cheaper movement in it than when it started but I'm happy just to get it back

From experience I can say that a death of a family member can rip you apart so you can't get anything done anymore. In bad cases for years. So maybe it was not intentional but bad timing.
