TT blue faced Sub. question

I mentioned in a thead somewhere last night,when i was in Cancun last month some guy had a TT blue faced sub that from about 12 feet away,the blue stood out like a sore thumb...i have never seen a watch like that,but then again,its the first time i've seen a sub outside of a SS black face i seen in a store once...

anyone have one of these here?...does the blue on that watch really stand out like that?...i would assume there is no difference in this watch between dealers but if anyone has any experiance,let me know....Ruby has it (with the gold end links,a real plus) for $279 shipped and i am pulling the trigger...

but if someone wants to stop me by saying "Dave you know you were loaded day and night in Cancun and were probably seeing things,the blue is dull"....i would appreciate that.....cheers!..

Yes, electric blue really stood out nicely on most watches. Rolex and Omega included.

hitman elmo....i have a tt sub and after about 5 moheetos it talks to me...anything like cancun ?. no really it's the only sub i have for that reason the dial is very rich and deep blue.... 8)

The TT Blue Sub is very nice just be carefuld on the reps that your dealer doesn't send you one with a purpleish dial, those suck.

I have Ruby's TT blue sub. It's nice - the rehaut is a little shallow, but the dial is a nice blue. Under certain light, it looks purplish; but under most light, it looks very blue.

anybody bought one from Ruby?...i have learned about the purplish dial...the one i seen on the guy i mentioned was bright deep blue.... 8)

I bought my TT Blue Sub from Ruby a couple of months ago. The watch Ruby sourced for me is a quality rep -deep blue face dial. As for there being a hint of purple under various light conditions, I have not experienced that thus far, and I have worn this watch almost daily since purchase.

Really the only time I noticed the purple color was when I tried to see the time in a darkened movie theater with only the light from the screen reflecting off the dial. Other than that, it's been blue; but I haven't had it very long and have only worn it twice so far. It's definitely way more blue than the one I had from Josh a while back (which also didn't have the supposedly solid gold endlinks and crown).

the tt blue sub is very showy. the tt black is more subtle. that blue dial is a big time attention getter (in a good way)
