Okay guys I need some help. So I recently ordered the Chanel J12 white 38mm w diamond bezel.

This is supposedly the level 3 ceramic meaning the highest quality ceramic bracelet that is availabale. I just recieved the watch and it has 2 discolarations on the end link on each side of the watch. The discoloration is brown and is larger on one side of the watch (bu less brown) and smaller on the other side bu a more borwn. Since this is a white bracelet it stands out and is obvious. Plus this shouldnt be the high quality bracelet like I ordered which is supposed to go through an extra process or something to get rid of these defects and also why it is more expensive. Anyway do you guys think this is the highest quality ceramic. I have attached some pics that I took (learned in one hour how to take them so I can mail them to the dealer to see).

Also there is a pretty big scratch on the watch on the inside clasp. Anyway here are the pics:

no idea either, but the scratch on the innerclasp doesnt bother me, nor the discoloration, but that could be because of the photo.

emailed the dealer but no response yet. That is why I did not post his/her name... Thing is I needed this watch by a certain deadline which is going to be soo hard to meet now. Plus I still no word from the dealer yet. Im pretty upset though at this point considering the amount I paid for this watch.

the scratch on the inner clasp does not bother me AT ALL. Just another thing since I already mentioned the other things.

I would not be bothered by the discoloration either except I paid A LOT for this watch to avoid such things...
Also yea I believe it isnt as obvious in the pics but on your wrist it is pretty obvious since the bracelet is shiny white, and the discoloration is brown. It apears lie a coffee stain which does not rub off...

thanks klink. I just wanted to see maybe I was being crazy for being this picky glad to see Im not the only one. I'll tell you guys how much I paid for this watch after the dealer comes up with some sort of resolution. It just sucks because I paid so much the dealer should have looked it over because it is a pretty obvious flaw. Especially for what I paid and also got the watch water-proofed etc... oh man I hope the dealer can ship me a new one before recieving this one, otherwise this is gonna suck.

I agree, those stains sucks, specially on such a bright white shinny watch. And for that price! I would never accept them, and contact the dealer immediatly. The price premium on the white watch over the black one, is because of the miscoloration during fabrication. So if you pay the higher price, you should for sure except nothing less then a completly white watch.

BTW, that scratch on the clasp, np at all.

yea I agree. do you guys think that maybe Iw as sent the mid-grade bracelet instead of the higher one. As far as I know the first kind is coated ceramic 2nd is all ceramic, and 3rd is all ceramic but goes through an extra burning process to eliminate these kind of stains that I got...

I could have gotten 4 POs for the price of this sucker so I am a bit ticked...

don't you just love it when a dealer tells you that they examined the watch and saw no stains and then go on to say "but of course I didn't examine it with a loop"? I dont even own a loop...

again...more and more often i just have the feeling that the watches are sent out....no matter what, cause the dealers have the payment already.....most have no quality control...a good look if the watch is alright seems to be a waste of time already.
this problems could so easy be avoided !!.....sigh
good luck

yep defenitely have tha feeling. By the way. Any1 know how hard is it to change the bracelet on this watch? The dealer is offering to send me a replacement bracelet but I would have to change the bracelet on my own.

crap can't get the pick to come out right. But it seems like it is a spring ord that is holding the bracelet to the actual watch. I asked the dealer if he can provid ea tool for me and he is checking with his watchmaker on this.

Wow this totally sucks. Guys I paid $800 for this watch...

Is yours the auto or quartz? it should be easy to change the bracelet juz a springbar tool will do, juz be careful, no doubt its scratch resistant but it can chip.

If you bought it from any of the dealers here I am fairly certain they will either fix your problem or at worst offer you a refund. I would pop a cold one and relax. I feel your pain but worrying won't make things any better.
