In a word: WOW. Having owned both white and black gen 116520 over the years I can tell you this looks and feels correct. Dimensions look right. Bezel measures 38.5 mm per gen. Bezel engravings look detailed and sharp. Dial is stunning in person with detail and print excellent. The case shape and of course thickness looks right. The polishing and the satin finish throughout is first class for a rep. Same quality build as other JF products I have. Don't let the price fool you, movement aside, this is solid and very gen like in feel, weight, and appearance. Many thanks to Angus PureTime for taking care of me as always. [emoji106]
For those not familiar yet, has a 23J calendar day/date movement. Feels little tinny and sounds squeaky when winding but smooth. Rotor is surprisingly quiet--almost gen quiet actually. I zeroed the 3 and 9 counters with the pushers. Not a big deal. Big seconds hand frozen. Running secs @ 6 has a tiny stutter, but no more than secs @ 12 APs I have. Hopefully will smoothen out a bit.
UPDATE:
Just discovered if I set the time back 24 hours the date and day counters reverse back to zero. Easier than pressing the day pusher 6 times and date pusher 30 times.
