about case thickness, is it mostly the back side of the case that makes it thicker then gen or also the upper side??

the blue dial has got weaker minute markers while the black dial seems to be updated.

one can assume that they try to sell the current stock of dials before producing new ones.

I have a JF 15400 V2 atm and Im looking to buy the V3. Should I wait some more for a V4 instead? Do you have any info when they will release one?

there is no bespoken V4 - there is only a silent updated V3 available. You have to look at the QC pictures to spot the silent update.

If you are not abled to tell the difference between V3 and updated V3 you will be totally satisfied with the current standard non updated V3

If you search a few pages back you can see the post i made about the new updated DW numbers of my black 15400 V3

you can clearly see the difference of the font and the sharpness of the much brighter minute markers clearly.

Just keep in mind that it won't be a cause for rejecting your watch during the QC process if it doesn't have the updated things i mentioned.

You are really lucky, all markers seem to be aligned and the print on the dial looks good. Enjoy it!
