They should start repping this Bamford edition. It would instantly solve all the major dial issues :hehehe:
That thing should be considered a crime against humanity and anyone involved should be sent to the hague.
I went to an AD today to try a blue dial RG 15400. And I have to say the JF V2 Blue dial is super duper inaccurate. The colour is too rich and dial shade is too light, plus what makes it worst is JF reinvent the fat logo which looks nothing like the gen fat logo. Theres too much spacing between A and P which is a big tell. 
Now i feel like getting a black or silver dial so I can shy my rep JF V2 15400 from friends who buys gen

And now read the last 5 pages and find out that they change the dial every few month. The JF dial copys the 2015/2016 dial check this pictures. Dont know why people are just don't read the last pages. Rolex btw uses 7-8 dials in the Submariner series (compare it with the 15400 its a joke). People must understand that even gens uses different suppliers for the dials thats why things change.
The pictures are both the blue version and both have different color + logos. On the top left is gen and right is JF on the second picture its a gen too. The new dial from JF copys the "dark" version.

I caved and ordered whatever version Toro is currently offering. I'm going to the south of France next month and feel this model is a perfect watch for the area - so if anyone sees me at a table in Monaco just point at it and give me a wink!

I totally agree with you! I've seen a few gen 15400 blue dials and not of them looked similar to JF 15400 blue dial.
This looks pretty nice. Which factory made it?
I think screws need a little refinement.
Totally agree, skip the blue dial. Its too bloody obvious and now it makes me very insecure wearing it. Get the white dial or black, its harder to call out the waffle pattern from the black dial, even gen is hard to spot because of the low contrast. So I recommend black dial.

Choose what you like for experts everyone will identify it as a rep and other people have no idea about so yeahSo go for white? Or wait until the newly released blue dial?

Amen. I came up with a flowchart on this when i first bought a rep:
Person (stranger/colleague/date) spots watch and likes the look.
- Person has no clue about high-end watches = no issue.
- Person knows a bit about that brand (how expensive it is) = no issue, unless one looks like one cannot afford such a watch
- Person knows that brand (how expensive it is) and is vaguely aware of that model = no issue, unless it is a poor rep Or one looks like one cannot afford such a watch
- Person knows that brand, model and some details of that specific watch = no issue, unless one is wearing a mediocre rep Or one looks like one cannot afford such a watch
- Person knows that brand, model and details of that specific watch to the level of RWI members = Issue, unless one is wearing a super-rep And dressed like one can afford it
Now how many are the latter type in life and how many of those will be jerks enough to call it out? Not sure. Perhaps one in ten thousand would be such informed jerks. One in thousand?
This is assuming one is dressed at a level corresponding to a 10-30K watch. But if one is sporting RMs, well, carry on. I have no clue how a person with a watch of that price dresses! Do they actually wear clothes, or do their staff simply carry pure gold-threaded sheets, that have been woven by the higher-ranked angels, around them?

Dressed like one can afford it :lol: Either a guy knows his stuff about watches or he doesn't. The guys who are able to call out these watches don't need to ask you if it is real...
The other guys who are "calling you out" are just spewing around bs and would even be fooled into buying a rep from some shady jeweler that puts them on display.
