The dial has changed atleast in the new videos on YouTube but not positive. The tapseries is far away from gen.

Blue is most popular because it looks great. I actually think color of rep blue looks better than gen.

Hmmm ... that makes sense - the blue color is very good looking. As already mentioned view pages back, rep is so good looking (more shiny and bright) - new gen apparently is copying the rep

Yes new gen blue is more shinny now but still not as shinny as JF blue.

they say it's sapphire, yet when i tap on it it sounds like mineral ...

I ordered 15450 jf blue dial. I just got QC pics, and I have some question.

1. They told me that is 15450 V2 JF(there is 3 o'clock marker). It seems like minutes marker and SWISS MADE are crisp enough. That means 15450 V2 does not have the same problem as 15400? or it not V2?



2. Screws besides crown looks like pushed too deep. Is that acceptable?

Here are some pics of my JF V2 that I just bought from Steve(rnrprof) with his 2xAR xtal. I feel like the color of the dial changes quiet a bit with different lighting and angles. (PS. Is it me or is my 3 o'clock market slightly crooked??)

Pictures of gen always have many different hues and colors, the color of the QC picture just look like one plain blue. Is that normal and is that just the photo?
I am asking because I am also waiting for the QC pictures of my 15450. If I compare it to this video of the JF the colors look amazing again.

And does minute marker at 3 always mean V2?

Look at minute markers they are almost perfect! Audemars Piguet wording on the dial is crisp as fuck too!

My first rep was a V7 diver and second noob V7 subc. This one I'm more worried about being called out then the other 2.

This one is kinda hard to call out on the wrist imo. Esp. If you can't inspect the watch closely.

Nope it's not 2 AR crystal that makes them nice and crisp. You just have there a nice printed markers and oreral very nice version whatever it is.
Can you ask Profesor Steve when ho got this specific JF 15400? Did he bought it recently?

In my opinion changing JF crystal to 2AR makes this watch less gen like.
Gen 15400 crystal reflects the light quite a bit.
