The minute markers on the one listed on Ryan's website does look better on the blue dial. There is no fading on them at all.

Gentleman,

I ordered a v2 black dial and received my QC photos. I wanted to first make sure I was seeing this right and that this is in fact a v2 which I believe it is.

Also a few quick questions:

1) ap logo looks a tiny bit misaligned but acceptable. I have seen much worse, would you agree?

2) the bezel screws seem to be misaligned and flat but I am having this watch shipped to prof for 2xar crystal so I am thinking he can take care of that for me right?

That being said - I am thinking I should accept. Am I missing anything?

Is anyone able to confirm if the minute markers have actually been updated? Pictures look improved but difficult to tell until in hand..

No they haven't. The dial in the pictures is actually the old pimpled, glossy dial, which is way inferior to the new dial but which always had the better minute markers...

Not sure why and how this old version turns up now...

This is how the most recent version is supposed to look; good, flat tapissery but shit minute markers

They probably found a box of old V1s and decided to use them.

I agree. Now they are back to dial from "v1".Yes minute markers are sharp because surface of this v1 dial is not as texturized as v2 - surface on v2 is pretty uneven and print doesn't get deep enough so it looks like it's fading.
Like I said one step forward and two steps backward.

Totally agree, even the latest Grey dial released couple of weeks ago is using V2 techniques on minute markers. Very weak printing :(

Pimpled dial was in fact also "v2".
There are no real versions of this watch. Jf regularly updates some details. Apparently they also mix up different versions. No official release of new versions... It seems you got the most recent bracelet though, which is of great quality, very silky...

Yes pimple dial was also considered as "v2" then they upgraded it.
I'm wondering if they decided to use pimple dial because minute markers are sharper or they just went to their old factory that made that dial.

@Ruski91 on the other hand you have awesome minutemarkers.

Thanks boys - approved and off to Prof for his AR magic. Now on to the daunting task of getting a proper strap made :)

Careful with x2AR on this watch. Firstly, it will make the shitty print more obvious and secondly the missing crystal look doesn't suit this watch IMO. The stock crystal is amazing and reflects just the right amount of light to compliment the blingy bracelet.
