Yeah, I would guess that the black one is harder to call out

Nothing missaligned looks perfect + the minute printing ist extremly good accept it!
Screws look spot on too, good to go
Is anyone able to confirm if the minute markers have actually been updated? Pictures look improved but difficult to tell until in hand..
Gentleman,
I ordered a v2 black dial and received my QC photos. I wanted to first make sure I was seeing this right and that this is in fact a v2 which I believe it is.
Also a few quick questions:
1) ap logo looks a tiny bit misaligned but acceptable. I have seen much worse, would you agree?
2) the bezel screws seem to be misaligned and flat but I am having this watch shipped to prof for 2xar crystal so I am thinking he can take care of that for me right?
That being said - I am thinking I should accept. Am I missing anything?

No they haven't. The dial in the pictures is actually the old pimpled, glossy dial, which is way inferior to the new dial but which always had the better minute markers...
Not sure why and how this old version turns up now...
This is how the most recent version is supposed to look; good, flat tapissery but shit minute markers

They probably found a box of old V1s and decided to use them.
I agree. Now they are back to dial from "v1".Yes minute markers are sharp because surface of this v1 dial is not as texturized as v2 - surface on v2 is pretty uneven and print doesn't get deep enough so it looks like it's fading.
Like I said one step forward and two steps backward.
So sadly i got a v1 dial but v2 on the rest> is that they general consensus? I accepted regardless but just want to make sure i know what i am getting.
Thanks boys - approved and off to Prof for his AR magic. Now on to the daunting task of getting a proper strap made![]()
