Yeah, this thing is such a beauty. Have had the blue dial for just over a week. Already thinking about getting the white dial as well :). Such a great rep with a great movement.

Success! Watch arrived, re-sizing was no big deal. The pins came out quite easily. Some came out without using the pin press tools, others needed a little "push".
Removed 4 links in total for 6.75 wrist. This thing looks great. Had the gen on my wrist at the AD recently, the JF looks and feels the same.
I'm a happy chap! Thanks for your help my friends.
Looks killer! How are you liking the size? Much space to go?
I personally got a 6.5" wrist and I think it owuld be a tad too large for me..

Thank you Danii :) well, the size is perfect for me. Wears like a thin AP Diver. I tried a gen ot the AD, to be sure that it fits.
My wrist is relatively skinny, however I got 50mm of flat real estate on the top. I am also wearing Panerais with confidence. My Roli Datejust 2 wears about the same and could be an alternative for you.

Btw, did not use any WD40 for the bracelet. Just my good old haidryer to loosen the pins up...

if I provide my wrist size to TD, will they adjust the link to my fit and send it? Is this even an option?

Reading up on this screw/pins removal, I am certain that I am incapable of doing it my self without damaging them.

Thx for the report - idem wrist size here, expands to 7" max. ... so you've answered my thoughts on fit and sizing ;)

Agree to avoid WD-40 ( the WD stands for water displacement, not so good for penetrating and lube) - focused heat is best to loosen tight screws> I would use the focused pencil tip flame of a butane cigarette lighter, just heating to the bare minimum to loosen the screw.

If one prefers to use a more gentle approach with a solvent, use Cano Lab's 'Kroil', or PB 'nutbuster' ... both are recognized penetrating oils. Kerosene/diesel fuel/lamp oil also work, but act more slowly than penetrating oils ... but they leave a lubricating film as a plus.

No, I'm not a watch mechanic .... but I can fix anything on Porsches and BMW's - so use your own judgement .. just a suggestion.

WD-40 is a multifunctional product. There will always be a specialized product which will perform better in specific scenarios.

Hi all,

Just received this today. I know it's not the SS version, but do you think JF have updated their bracelet again?
Seems the clasp is completely different to what we're used to...

Smoooooooth...

As someone that's got the SS older version and had a gen, this is really close to gen, especially its flexibility, you can almost curve each side of the band back on itself.

So how do you guys remove the links on the AP bracelet. I've been soaking my new one in wd40 for days. After I take out the little screw, I see the pin on the other side. Do i push that pin out from the other side? Any tools you you guys can refer me to to purchase that are the right size? Thanks.

Yeah, it's indeed trickier than I thought. Been struggling with my pins as well. Ordered a pinpusher. Hope that works..

I found that patience and a hairdryer worked a treat. Pins were a little difficult to pull out once pushed through (pin pusher clearly not long enough).. however pulling out with my teeth, whilst not ideal, didn't cause much trouble

Really is a lovely bracelet feels amazingly well put together

Bracelet block, pin tool , and hammer. Do not buy one of those cheap plastic pin pusher tools

I asked Francis@puretime same question, and he advised me that when I get QC pics, I can ask their QC to resize it. But also told me that they may not do this as it is really hard to resize a bracelet when they cannot see the watch on my wrist first.

Francis says either way I can take it to a local watch-smith and he can do it for a few $. Do you think it is a good idea? Or horrible idea?

My local watchsmith couldn't do it at first. Make sure you first give it a wd40 bath for at least a couple of days

Thanks for the update. I am really concerned about this. Its stopping me from placing an order. I am gonna check with the local watch smith if he has any experience with this.
