I got the JF 15400 when it first came out and I loved it except for the bracelet. The sharp edges bothered me a lot and I know it's a rep so I shouldn't expect much. My question is, is the new bracelet smooth or smoother at least

Don't know about the very first version, but this bracelet feels great! In terms of build and finish I think it's as good as it's gonna get...

I really think thats a batch thing. Because I have an old v2 bracelet and no sharp edges absolutly smooth and not sharp. My 15202 Replica have sharp edges so i know what you mean.

Soaking it for a week? Come on guys, you gotta be kidding me. Use a hairdryer, heat the screws up and they should come out easily. The factory has probably put some loctite on them and heat softens that stuff...

It's a shame they've messed with the screws on the new one! :(

As someone looking to purchase their first watch from JF, does the 15450 AP have the same problem with the screws and band? I will guaranteed have to make the band smaller to fit my wrist; However, I am afraid it will be difficult based on all of your guys discussion?

Also would my local watch shop have difficult re-adjusting the band since some say you have to leave it soaked for a long period of time?

Same problem with the screws. Soaked the band in WD40 for 24 hours. Screws wont move a bit (some of them came out easily while others do not move at all. I do not think they are glued). Tried a bunch of different screw drivers. 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.4 mm, 1.5 mm ...expensive and cheap... I am out of ideas. It's extremely frustrating.

Buy one of these . First thing you do is take the bracelet off and clean it in here. Then disassemble the entire bracelet and clean it again in parts. Let it dry, and then reassemble it using loctite

heat it up. Gen Rolex bracelets can be very very tight as well. Trick is to use a hairdryer or just dip it in some hot water it will help loosen it
