Yep, and soak it in wd40 for a loooong time! It's easy to damage the screws. Patience required...

As i am typing this reply,

I just removed the pins on my new bracelet.

I do not have problem removing the pin, but there is major problem taking out the screws on the bracelet..

good luck to mates who are going to receive their new bracelet.

For pin, you can use this :

Omgosh you guys. Don't ever try to size a rep bracelet without soaking it and cleaning it first. And only use quality screwdrivers

Guys, just to confirm: For the new style 15400 bracelet I need a pin press tool to size it, right?
Many thanks in advance!

Thank you Sir! On gen forums they speak about a half link for the perfect fit. Would you or someone else know if that part fits the rep bracelet as well?

Have just got one, and got the same new bracelet. I've never tried the old one, but the feeling on the wrist with this new one is great!

And by the way, had a hard time trying to adjust the bracelet too...

Wow those screws really got messed up. Never force screws that size.
So new bracelet has screws and pins? Sounds pretty shitty to me. Wondering if I could push out those pins by a thin screwdriver.

Older JF 15400 v2 bracelet was very easy to adjust, unscrewing screws were extreamly easy and smooth - there was absolutely no problem at all. It also feels very smooth on the wrist.
I think they should stick with old bracelets.

Thanks for the review.

I couldn't stand the rough feel of the old bracelet! Therefore, glad they improved the finish.

I'm not too bothered about the cosmetic differences compared to gen, since nobody in the real world can prove that they are not gen variations/versions etc.

Hate rep screw/pin combo but a x2day soak in WD40 should remove any issues...it's not like I'll be removing/adding links everyday [emoji14]

Which size screw driver do you recommend? I have a bunch of low quality screw drivers but want to invest in some quality :) (RO with new bracelet is on the way).

...and how about the pins, do they come out easily, or do they need a lot of force?

You can use low quality screw driver but it's all about how you use it and do not force screws. Use WD40 and apply a little force and it this doesn't work apply more WD40 and wait for it to penetrate.
I will take pic of my screw driver set - it's nothing fancy.

I think you can also push out pins with the screw driver.

I would advice not to try this. The hole at the backside of the pin is very tight and it's really easy to damage the link. Even more so because the pins may be stuck as well (some on my bracelet were) and you need to use a lot of force to push them out.

Thanks for the info. I'm windering if you can use something else than a pin press? Perhaps a needle?

Thanks a lot for your help MBvHoven.

I have a pin press but it is just a cheap one. I also have a 0.8mm drill which i could use as a pin driver.
Something I like to share with you: i always heat up the bracelet in the screw area with a hair dryer. This way, the small stuff usually comes out easily...
