So, in this version of ZF, the chronograph minute dial still 30' instead of 60', right ?

Hmm the ZF I received in early November buggered out this morning after about a week of continuous operation, right after I get a nice alligator strap. So much for the improved movement. It just doesn't tick tock anymore.....Is there anyone I can send it to for repair?

Well I think you will be waiting for some time as the gen is a flyback chronograph.

Just about to order a 3777 ZF and 3878 ZF from puretime. Wondering why the 3878 ZF SS is +$50 compared to the leather version, whereas the 3777 ZF is just +$30. Is there a difference between the two SS bracelets?

Ohh that's a really bad news! Keep us updated how's the situation evaluated, I'm about to pull the trigger between 3787 and 377-06 and this information from you just fell down on me like Santa from the roof.

Fingers crossed.

I knew there was no improvement otherwise the TDs would have been raging on about this new breakthrough. $400USD for something at last a few weeks or months? ---- I'll skip

Thats too sad! This was certainly going to be my next watch! I had ordered the strap already

Its a 21/18. Will it look good only on Pilot Chronos (3777/LPP) or can I attempt it on a 5001 also, coz I was thinking of getting that next.

But really sad about the movement. Is there a known repair solution, other than mods from Modders on the forum coz the shipping won't work out for me sitting where I'm sitting... :(

Maybe you all will have better luck than I did? I swear I only used the chrono like twice. Hate to be the bearer of bad news to everyone :(

Why would you use the chrono on such a fragile movement? I wouldn't even use it, if I had the gen..or any other rep movement except for a quartz. The risk of movement failure is just not worth it. There are also some gens with lower movement reliability, which could cause problems if you use the chrono too much.

Can somebody explain me what the chrono function has to do with the seconds@6 ?? In my opinion it has NOTHING to do with it !
Its the transfer gears that transfer the seconds from the 9 position to the 6 position .

We need a bigger sample size. Seems as though only 1 person has had any issues so far and we don't know for sure what is causing the problem.

this version of the watch is relatively fresh, but with old fashioned movement solutions. The problem of the @6 sec is well known thats why people skip current Spitfire edition because the problem is real. No one wants a paper weight for 400USD just after week of average use.
