Trying to figure out where people are getting these failure rate percentage numbers from. People are stating 50% as if there's a rep watch failure repository somewhere that's keeping a running tally.

Do You have a trusted watchsmith who will service it in the first place? - because most won´t...

My 2 stock A7750 (sec 9) Chronographs are running fine for 2 Years. I don´t wind them; before setting the date the time is set to 6 o´clock; the
chrono is used with stopping it at 55 before resetting to zero; The Third is a decorated non-chrono A7750 swim-watch with 2 seasons behind.

Yes we have a rep friendly dealer close to where i live , did you get any of these serviced?
None of these have been serviced yet according to the motto: "if it ain´t broke...."
From all I have read, once serviced professionally, the asian movement improves a lot with smooth winding and a much improved power reserve/ reliability. As said, I don´t wind mine, so when I will start noticing a decrease in power reserve I´ll have the first one serviced, although that time hasn´t come yet.

I purchased this tag from Chazingtime, and now I will wait to receive it.. Read many post on Movement. It's no good movement, easily to break. I worried for it and I want to know if possible to change this Movement with an other of best quality?

They try to quantify "it could fail or it may not"... 50/50.

Hello,
I have just joined the forum reading about replica watches and their reliability. I learned a lot during last week but it is too late to stop purchase of replica IWC Portuguese Chrono with second @ 6. Read all about reliability. I learned I would not even try manual winding, chrono usage, there is no date so no problem there.
So what should I do?
1. Go and try to service it first w/o even take it out of box
2. Let it go and hope I have a good batch
3. Try to resell it and take a loss
4. Something else

Website is saying it is Swiss Valjoux Automatic Movement at 28800 bph and I assume it is A7550

Thanks for any advise.

If you can service it, just do it asap and then you'll be fine for years.
If not just let it go and hope you have a good batch.

My two cents.

Thanks for all the valuable tips. May I add that from my experience, A7750 sometimes will stop ticking randomly if not worn, but after it's worn for sometimes or placed on watch winder, it will tick smoothly/fine.

Paradise! (SE Qld)
Hi all,
I think I read somewhere that the 9300 is a newer version of the 7750, I'm looking at purchasing an Omega rep with this movement, does anyone have any opinions on the quality/reliability of this movement? I've tried to read up on it but am not getting anywhere.

I'll attempt to upload a couple of photos (not my strong point!)

Bought a Daytona 116523 YG JF 1:1 Best Edition Black Dial on SS Bracelet A7750 to my wife as a gift. Worked for 4 days and now it's totally dead.
I cant wind it up or set the time. Very very disapointed!!

I have accepted that any modified 7750 is best serviced, period. Native configuration is reliable and can probably go for years just fine. My Daytona seconds at 6 after service is so quiet you barely hear it wind and you cannot hear it tick. Night and day difference between before and after.

Contemplating placing order for Daytona 116500 JF 7750 working chrono improved 29J version
Any idea if it's a more reliable movement than previous?

Am in Uk so dire shortage of replica watch repairers hence is it worthwhile getting service done from AD when purchasing watch

Thanks

Best to ship it out soon after receipt and have a service locally. I personally would not trust the TD to do a full service. I'm not sure if either works on them, but UK watch repair from next door on rwg is in the UK and ado213 also is( I know he's very busy so you would need to contact him). Other options are Domi and socket are in Germany. Bottom line is while some issues have been sorted out like adding jewels to the transfer module (which takes stress off of the movement by reducing the resistance of turning the train), others like dirty movements and imprecise machining of the parts are still present. Based on my recent experience from last summer, I would strongly suggest you consider a full service in the first few months.

Hello guys, I bought a Daytona replica with asian 7750 movement, the only strange thing is that the minute hand of chronograph reset to random position, then if I move the watch giving a few taps I can bring it back to the reset position. The hand chronograph of hour counter doesn't move or counts almost two hours then stops, when I reset the chronograph returns correctly to the start position. Someone can give me help with this behaviour of the movement? Sorry for my poor english

I had a similar problem. Mine was actually a gear in the transfer module skipping. Bottom line is you are looking at a service. Expect to pay about$250. Domi is EU based. I'd contact him.
