Ok, my brother using galaxy s4. And its so slim and freaking light. But I'm still deciding even though i think i might pull the trigger on s4 cus i pissed where I'm having trouble bringing the iPhone 4 as some of my pants pocket is so small. Its pathetic. If i buy the s4 then it would be ...

I can only compare my 4s or the droid x, incredible, and galaxy s3. I have owned all 4. Every droid phone has repeatedly gotten locked up to the point that I had to take the phone apart, remove the battery, and put back together to force a reboot. iPhone does not need it which is good since it can't be done. Battery life: 4s owned for 18 + months and is as good today as day 1. Androids: within 6 months they have noticeably weaker life and usually by 12-15 months needing to buy a new phone since the battery life becomes impossible to deal with.

Ok chaps, i bought an s4 yesterday.

Nice choice sir.

Any questions, please just ask. New users (and anyone else for that matter) should realise that with Android a lot of things are changeable. Don't like something? Just change it. Download it, install it.

Keyboards, sms apps, the whole 'launcher' interface etc.

Enjoy the ability to plug into any computer and have all the drives show up including the removable micro sd card. I could go on....

A friend of mine just purchased the iPhone and promptly returned it a week later. She also got the s4.

Night and day difference...for her anyway.

Congrats on your new phone.

Yeah but it sucks that espier launcher now have the validation thingy to prevent people from cracking its apps. As the app now need to pay money and its in trial version. And within i don't know 30 days? then it stop running the app.

I use my s3 for pretty much everything if the s3 is anything to go by the s4 should kick the iphone teeth in without even breaking a sweat. The s3 can be slow and a bit glitchy sometimes but I know for a fact iphone suffers the same. As for battery drain on galaxy's just use the power saving mode, turn the screen brightness down when indoors, and only charge the battery when it has less than 10-20% left. These help preserve the batt life.

At the end of the day it's your call try them both and feel which is better.

If you are still using the stock launcher (samsung one) - give Apex launcher, nova launcher a shot.

Neither. iPhone 5s will be out in September. Wait.

If you are impatient then buy the 5. Superior battery life and plugs into thousands of accessories (Bose radio, clocks, in-dash units , etc.)

I carry both daily. The iPhone has a few nice features sure. But it's a joke comparing the two honestly.

If you like paying for things then get a iphone.

If you like getting paid apps, music & movies/shows for free... get the Galaxy.

My selling point is torrent apps for the android, can't do that on a iphone.

+1

Android has certainly come a long way.. but looking at variety and options when it comes to cases & accessories, connected devices and most importantly, apps, the iPhone ecosystem simply trumps Android.

Putting aside the 'should you' and focusing only on the 'can you' -- jailbroken iPhones can install cracked apps too.

I just switched fringe note 2 to the s4 active and bout the same but the s4 is more hand friendly only giving up a half a inch but it seems the note 2 had better battery life by a few hours
