First, I didn't know it was against the rules. I was looking into buying a gen speedy for my fathers birthday and was wearing it. I know the people over there personally as my family has purchased from them before.

Either they were too kind or not so good at their job not treating you as a counterfeit item owner..

"Not so good at their job" they didn't look at it through a loupe, and since I know them quite well and have bought gen before they had no reason to. If you're just taking a peek at the watch before setting it down on a tray there aren't really any immediate tells (aside from the caseback apparently) I was under the impression it was improved. Still not the same as gen, but on wrist still definitely a super rep.

Just curious, are you 100% sure there is only one version of Genuine’s H-serial# case-back ? Only thin font? maybe both thick and thin font version exists on Genuine? Thanks.

I don’t consider it a super Rep due to missing outline around bezel numerals.

Gen bezel numerals with ghost outline:

The different caseback engravings could be gen batch variation. Nobody can prove otherwise. This is an irrelevant “issue” on the rep.

I’m afraid XF will mess something up as well. I am trying to buy 15706 xf v2 but apparently now they come only with brushed bezel while gen don’t have brushed bezel. According to my TD. And it’s a huge freaking tell if you ask me.

I don't know much about the 15706, but I'm not going to hold my breath with the XF.

you don't need a loupe to see how the seconds sweep or the difference in the inner diver bezel...

I took it to the AD and even let them handle the watch while looking at a gen perpetual calendar. Got nothing but compliments, and they treated me like a king. They even invited me to try on a few pateks (they usually don't let walk ins do that). It is seriously so close to gen it's scary.

This is a bannable offense. You are aware of that correct?

I already stated that I had no idea. The toxicity is insane in this thread, give a newbie some slack. I also stated I didn't wear it to the AD with the intent of testing it, I stopped by while doing other shopping.
