I can definitely understand the hard choice aspect. I'm looking at ali sellers now trying to decide who I'll get the orange and yellow from now. And the Miami blue is in the mix and I like the Ironman 70.3 world championship Ironman. I've got another $140 in the ali cart at the moment just debating on what I'll pull the trigger on now, lol.TBH it was a hard choice, but ended up going with the dark blue
It totally transformed the watch. Looks so much better. That's how it should come in the first place. I would have destroyed the watch if I tried to do that.
Can you post the Ali address for the watch. There is more than one dealerI can definitely understand the hard choice aspect. There are multiple on both dh gate and Ali. If you pay around 30usd and the seller has several hundred sold with good reviews- that's who you want you buy from. That being said- here is @NCRich 's original link- and he is the undisputed King of the cheapie watch finds. Can you post the Ali address for the watch. There is more than one dealer
I agree- made a big difference. It totally transformed the watch. Looks so much better. That's how it should come in the first place. I would have destroyed the watch if I tried to do that.
Thanks. These go for $20 to $40 on Aliexpress. Shiny seems to be saying he was on Aliexpress.
That's correct. I use Ali because I don't have an dhgate account. I've bought two of these and the stores were removed within just a day or two of placing the order. Still received my watches.Thanks. These go for $20 to $40 on Aliexpress. Shiny seems to be saying he was on Aliexpress.
My experience with Aliexpress has been very good. I’ve ordered a lot of Xmas gifts from them. I ordered a few of theirs $1.79 designer watches to used as stockings stuffers. One didn’t work and they gave a $2 refund without questions. How they can sell a quartz watch for $1.79 with a battery and free shipping to the USA is something I don’t understand. So for $30 I expect Patek quality. That's correct. I use Ali because I don't have an dhgate account. I've bought two of these and the stores were removed within just a day or two of placing the order. I just bought two more a couple days ago from this store https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1103130904 which is still up and looks like it might be a little more stable (it has an actual name). I am fairly confident you will get what you order even if the stores get removed because my understanding is they won't get paid until you confirm delivery but not 100% certain.
I've also got a moonswatch on the way and two Maurice LaCroix and those stores are still up. Well maybe not the moonswatch one. I can't keep track.
So are you saying the Zhan Gu is as good as the DHGate one?My experience with Aliexpress has been very good. I’ve ordered a lot of Xmas gifts from them. I'm fairly new to Ali. AND I was actually just trying to find that Alibaba thread I remembered from a while ago because this thread made me think of it just now today and it was you! I'm going to see if you ever got it and what you received, lolMy experience with Aliexpress has been very good. I’ve ordered a lot of Xmas gifts from them. Yep, all the same but there are two versions you can see from looking earlier in the thread. A really bad shiny thing and the better ones with the "24" number on the 3 oclock subdial. That's the one you want. The one Cmaster posted is the bad version. And Pinion Minion posted the light blue version next to the two better versions dark blue and greenSo are you saying the Zhan Gu is as good as the DHGate one?
Yes, I posted some photos. Most comments thought it was a watch by the Clean factory although one “Expert “ thought it looked like a perfect copy of the Clean Rolex . So it could be that a new factory is making perfect copies of the Clean Rolex copy. So maybe Clean factory should complain to the government to have that factory shut down. Is there no honor amongst the fake watch factories.I'm fairly new to Ali. Or you could do like me and epoxy the bezel. Mine will not rattle.A bit of information for anyone interested- I pulled apart one of the better Endurance reps because like the Blancpain ocean rep I hate how jangly the bezel was.
1) bezel is the single bent wire click spring type- not the bent octagon type.
2) there is not hytrel ring (at least in mine)
3) the crystal is pressed in with a gasket- not glued.
did the fishing line trick- even with 12 pound test line it was way too tight- it was not turnable at all. I went down in size and only used enough line to cover about 60 percent of the bezel groove. it keeps it from jangling and feels much more solid but it is now just very difficult but not impossible to turn. I don't really care about using a compass bezel as long as it is aligned and don't have to hear the metal on metal jangling.
it is also a big improvement to do @NCRich 's hairdryer on the band trick to soften and shape the rubber- makes it much better.
