MUST READ FOR ALL NEW MEMBERS
After months of researching other rep web sites, I finally found RWI and decided to give it a shot. Marvelous Replica was super responsive and answered all my questions very fast; being a newbie I had a lot of questions and probably sent like 20 emails back and forth with MR. I ordered a Rolex GMT II and a Corum Admirals Cup Challenge 44.
The watches arrived super fast. Ordered on 9/2 received on 9/8
However, the Corum arrived dead. I gave it a few winds and nothing, nada. It was DOA. I immediately emailed MR and he asked if I followed his instructions. He told me that the Asians 7750 are very easy to break and that many new members do break the watch. At that point an alarm went off. Being new to Reps, I freaked up and immediately assumed I was being scammed. After all I have never heard of a watch that 1) can get broken just by shipping it and 2) is so easy to break with improper use. I thought, is this guy trying to blame me for it not working? The fact was, the watch came dead.

(I later searched the boards I learned both can and do happen).
At this point I was pissed, so MR recommended that we get RWI’s admins involved for us to help settle the dispute. At first I was skeptical thinking that the Admins were in business with MR and they were just going say that it was my fault or pressure me to send the watch back for repairs. The problem with that is I do not want to own a "repaired" watch. I spent $378 on the watch I want one that works right from the beginning. Once a lemon always a lemon in my mind.
I thought for sure I was out $378 dollars or was going to have to ship the watch back and wait 1++ months for repairs. The next thing I know MR emails me telling me he will offer a full refund for the watch. I totally was not expecting this.
I think that is what really separates MR – his exceptional customer service.
My advice to new members
1. Read the dealers website terms and don’t be afraid to ask lots of question
2. Do your research. Understand the pro’s and con’s of the watch you want
3. Understand there are language and cultural differences
4. Be patient. Dealers are very concerned about your satisfaction
5. Try to resolve the issue with the dealer and RWI admins before posting something. (if you read this thread you will see I immediately posted what happened before working with them to resolve it). The RWI admins were great and helped me get the issue resolved.
6. Understand shit happens.
This is my story about a bad experience turned to a great experience. I would highly recommend MR.
Cheers,
