my issue actually wasnt the spring. it turned out a part of my band was bent slightly so i bent it back by hand and now the band closes nice n snug.

What about the problem with the metal knob the clasp latches onto? I hear these get loose on some of the new PO's and cause bracelet failure. Anyone know the construction of the pin/knob and how to disassemble and reassemble more secure?
