Has EMS been slow lately?

Just food for thought peace out. Accountability reputation pt is exceptional others their service speaks for themselves. Ems Dhl fedex all promise fast delivery if they late what repercussion for them. Can complain to corporate nothing happens but I guess 20 usd to post from China is a good deal

Nope. I have a family a career and currently four reps. I don't have to work for them in order to understand the way this works. There are loads of threads telling you and the rest of us how this thing works. It's easy. You just have to read and use common sense.

Only problem is, common sense isn't that common nowadays....

As has been pointed out to you, alibaba had a record sales day and that is going to put a major strain on the postal/delivery systems.

PATIENCE is the key here. Patience is a virtue and only comes to those who wait.

And as egroegart said "Bash a dealer here for absolutely no reason and your stay will be an unpleasant one."

I'll go further than that. Bash them in the way you are thinking of then you will no doubt be banned from here

Exactly where is the common sense it will be driven by economics. Why stick up for the incompetent other td around what so special about one others abound that capitalism I guess but I guess socialism is the norm

So, if you understand that it is the postal services problem why are you threatening to give negative feedback to Silix? Yes, that is the irrational part. Like I said, they did what they are supposed to. Now it's in the hands of the postal service. Silix has as much knowledge about where your watch is as you do. nothing. It can take anywhere from 5 days to a month to receive your watch.

Let us all consider ourselves damned lucky to have dealers that can be trusted. Darned lucky. In this 'business', buying 'contraband' as others would tell you, it is all a matter of trust and patience. No demands, just the patient hope that the Gods will be with us, and we will all get our 'stuff'. So lets not bash the guys that 'make it happen' too quickly. YES - shipping is S L O W from China. These watches ain't "fulfilled by Amazon". And who really cares if it's a week or two weeks? It's a freaking watch - not a kidney. If you can't wait then run on down to the mall and pick you up a Gen Mall Watch.

Wow, so Silix controlls the China EMS/postal system?
I didn't know that!
Now I now just who to complain to about any slow EMS shipments from China.(from any TD)
And I guess you control the postal system in your country.

As Dynaduck said, you should leave the rep world if you don't know how it works, some members, like myself, are tired of these type of noob (even though you've been a member for 3 years, but still don't know much how this works, so it makes you a noob.) and take up on something else, read above from the great fellow members, Sumikito, Flyr and JAFO, they once again answer your worries.

The first rep I ordered from a non TD arrived in ten days via EMS and I thought that was good. There wasn't any tracking email - it just arrived but it is a cheap rep.
I ordered another one last Saturday (8th Nov) from the same site so let's wait and see how long it takes for this one to arrive.
Once it does - provided my local customs officers don't seize it - I'll let you all know.
In that way, given the time of year (Xmas) and Alibaba, we should be able to get a good time frame for our deliveries - at least here in the UK.
