Diver V3.5 selling as gen?

Hi there mates.

I've seen this Diver for selling on chrono24, and would share with you.

Look at the screw at 5', it's on the wrong position.

Is this one GEN?Or just a scam trying to sell a V3.5 as GEN?

I don't think the AP would sell a watch with a screw on the wrong position, right?

Carr sells genuine watches. In this particular case I would ask for pictures of the box and papers before buying. There are no rep manuals on the 3120 calibre that I know. Also the warranty correct stated and stamped by AD retailer. I think the watches they sell comes from different retailers so they can got a rep from a scammer if unlucky.

But I agree that screw @5 looks better on my V3

The watch in the link is a gen....look at the bezel numbers, particularly the inside of the zero...it's got squared edges just like in a gen...

Agreed. Also, I think because of the angle the watch was photographed from, it makes the screw look wrong. If you look cloesely, it lines up with the 'corner' on the outside of the bezel perfectly

Screw is in wrong position, easy fix. The watch is gen. I wonder who screwed the screw up though

Should be a gen, lume looks gen to me. Wonder who messed up the screws though. Maybe the chump who sold it to dealer tried to swap out the white gold screws for rep ss screws?

This is when a little knowledge goes wrong.

Did you even think for a moment the consequences if you report something as being fake that there might be to a legitimate seller? How much hassle that creates for them?

Next time before you go whanging in reports that you take a bit of time to actually substantiate your claims. Or at least wait for some other people to agree or disagree with you.

This was a very shortsighted thing for you to do and I suggest you don't do it again.

Me too it look gen to me based on the lume on the inner rotating ring. The rep is very spongy.

This shop is just round the corner from me, right in the centre of the financial heart of London. They are very reputable, and could not get away with a rep. They deal solely in 2nd hand stuff, I have tried a few on. They really know their stuff.

nope its 100% gen! perfect lume application on the bezel, perfect AR and correct second hand. The screwed up screw can always happen.
