Good night friends, it's been day 2 of not being able to walk like a normal person. My back is absolutely f'ked up. But on the flip side it's been productive and tomorrow is going to be another great day! Good night

Not a great day here. I walked out of my hotel this morning and someone has opened a car door into the side of my hire car. The car parked next to it is the same colour as the paint marks left on my hire car. Turns out he is an employee and he is denying it. I've had to return to the hotel now the manager has arrived and she is reviewing the CCTV. I'm gonna get a £1,000 bill from the car hire firm for this shit [emoji30]

Tell me about it brother. I've had to involve the Police who are going to look at the CCTV. You'd think if there really was CCTV evidence that the employee was not involved, they'd let me at least see it, but nope, they flat out declined to even let me have a look never mind a copy. So I'm now back home £1,000 lighter. That's about $1,500 give or take. I'm seething.

Hopefully the Police will get there and either obtain a copy of the CCTV to show what really happened, or it will have conveniently been 'deleted' to hide his guilt, that way I can work it out with his insurers. It takes the piss as his car was such an unusual burnt orange colour and the paint transfer onto my black hire car was exactly the same colour burnt orange, and just so happened to be exactly in the place his passenger door would come into contact with my hire car. I photographed the lot, including with his door open to the side of my hire car showing all this. There is no way it wasn't him, too many coincidences and surely if it genuinely wasn't him, they'd of just let me have a quick look at the CCTV footage.

I will be contacting his Insurers, but in the meantime I've had to just put it on a credit card

Go get him bkg! Keep at it to show him and the hotel manager a lesson. Folks nowadays have a "I don't care attitude" built into their evil minds. That sucks. When ever I park into a place with tight spaces, I turn on my video camera from my phone and do a quick scan of the cars to my front, left, and right AND their license plates !! If nothing happens, I simply erase the 15 second footage and record over it again the next time. No way some nut will get away with it with me. ........... Too many nutcases running around. .........now for some coffee.... :coffee:

Hey 5-0, hope you're well bro. Taking the piss is more of a 'having a joke at your expense' type thing.

Which is what's happening now. Police have said that as its a private car park they won't investigate. I'm gonna speak with him in the morning then go straight to his insurers. This is all bollocks

Bkg, I know in the USA his insurance company will try and dodge the responsibility. You might have to take him to court. In the U.S. We have small claims for just this type of claim.

Whats going brothers? I just wrapped my tree with Christmas lights in the backyard for a party and was unaware an old strand had a few broken lights. I zapped myself 4-5 times, before they were all fixed. I was getting ready to wire them to some big bulbs we have stretched out to the house around the tree but of course it started raining so I had to put a hold on that. I probably won't be able to finish those little bastards until Friday. It's supposed to come down hard all day tomorrow. Thats been the the highlight of my evening. Now its going to be a late night working on my wife's 4Runner with my brother. It started over heating today with a big cloud of white coolant smoke I'm pretty sure the thermostat is out so it should hopefully be an easy fix...

What going on in your world?
