That's nothing, heck, I've got a neighbor that never ever removes his Christmas lights strung all over his house. Every time I see him while walking the dogs, I say Merry Christmas, but he answers 'same to you neighbor' . ..........Something is quite wrong here................ hwell: Folks are not the same anymore........

NO NO I PROMISE! I believe in holidays in order. I'm only making it look fancy for the party. I'll have to post a photo. Santa doesn't go on top of the house until a week or so after Thanksgiving...

That happens quite a lot here in the Philippines. Christmas lights are removed only after the month of May because June is the start of the rainy season. :hehehe:

I'm that guy too, though my wife wants it all up on December 1st. Though they come down before the new year. I kinda get no say as with travelling so much for work I come home to find she and the kids have just done it!

Well it's yet another birthday in the bkg! household. My youngest boy turns 8 today. I feel old

We have to do the same our HOA fines us, I think we have until Jan 1 but I guess it sounds like it's a good thing. The problem I have is that some of the decorations freeze into the ground(or the ground freezes around it) and then it's me with a heat gun out in sub-zero degree weather trying to get it out. But it's all part of the season.
