Wasnt a showstopper at all but it could hold its own on road !
Very nice Dave! 350? This is why I bought the mustang was to re-live my childhood. Ever think about getting another camero?

Yeah it was a 67 camaro with a 68 large journal 4 bolt 350, LT1 rods, TRW11.5-1 forgeged pistons, Comp cams 302 duration solid lifter cam, 186 casting (1969 z28 heads (2.02 valves)) Holley strip dominator intake , hooker headers Holley 700 double pumper,hush thrush header mufflers that dumped just under the drivers seat(no tail pipes ) Turbo 400 short shaft tranny and a 4.11 12 bolt posi rear. Ran high 12s to low 13s

I had my camaro,
My buddy rob had a 66 galaxy with a 428 in it
my buddy butch has a 68 cuda with a 413 max wedge ,
Billy with a 70 boss 302 stang,
His sister had a 71 or 72 boss 351 stang,
my buddy steve had a ls6 454 chevelle,
my buddy chuck had a 67 goat with a 389 tripower,
doug had a 70 TA with a 400....
we all used to hang out together .......

Heck yeah...my neighborhood is like that now. My one neighbor has a 70's Pontiac Grand Prix with a built 455 and my other neighbor has a rat rod 68 Chevy truck with a 350. We all go to carshows together.

It was bikes with my friends and I. We all had large capacity road bikes and its a wonder any of us made 21!
I rode a Kawasaki 900 Z1 till we parted ways then a Suzuki GSX1100. My best friend had a Laverda Jota, which we all coveted more than his girlfriend!
If only we had all kept those bikes, what would they be worth now!

These conversations make me want another mustang. Problem is you can score 5 liter cars for cheap anymore. I paid $2,500 for my first one now that same car sells for almost 10k. I'll find a toy eventually

We didn't have access to bigger bikes but all of us had the 250 2-strokes and the. A few 600's at the time the GPZ 600 was HOT as shit! (Thanks to top gun) LOL
