Hi gents, how's it going, this is my first time in this thread since the forum went down. Glad it's back. @bkg! did I read it correctly? you just quit your job? @chris9 I'm already processing my papers to NZ, hope I can get there before the last quarter of this year :) @Jeane123 how are you buddy?been out of the rep game for a while since I got myself a new motorcycle, so most funds are funneled there.

Yes buddy, you read that right. Though it was more of a 'mutual agreement' than a quitting. I had shit on them, and rocked the boat, so they asked me if I wanted to leave. We negotiated terms and now I'm set up on my own, gone solo, and will see how this works as a Consulting Investigator.

Back to you brother, as Jean says, we need some more info on the bike. It's been nearly four years since I had my last. It was a brute, and I loved it, but the big family meant I never really got much time to use it. I have the itch at the moment, but wouldn't go for a full blown superbike again, as great as it was. I love the Triumph Speed Triple at the moment, but I'm a twin guy at heart, always had Ducati and Aprilia.

Ooh, and more more more on the move to NZ???

@Jeane123 @bkg! it's really not much of a bike, it's a single cylinder 150cc yamaha FZ16, I just use it to go work. I already made it a 200cc bike by changing the block and stuff. I use to ride a 650 kawasaki before but riding a 200cc bike is fun too, it taught me a lot. On moving to NZ, I am now completing my requirements to enroll in there bridging program and work there as a nurse, so hopefully within this year I will be able to meet @chris9 , working here in the Philippines as a nurse is really tough.

Bren, when I finished all this NZ things and move there, I'll be happy to be your apprentice and student. I got to fulfill this dream of mine somehow. I'm really glad you have your own private practice now, it will be hard at first but it will really be liberating looking forward.

It's good news mate and I wish you all the best with things. Did you ever get through those Paul Ekman books? I'm re-reading one at the moment

My place of settlement will depend on which school I'll attend, but after the program, I am hoping to stay at Auckland because I got a close friend there. Thank you my friend, I'll let you know for sure, I will need all the luck and help that I can get. Where are you located in NZ?

Good morning guys and gals, and welcome to the weekend. This little hang out of ours has gone far too long with no action. Let's revive this one.

Quick little update on life, the consultancy work is a little slow on the uptake, so in the meantime, I'm using my other skills to make a living fitting kitchens and bathrooms. I'm booked up until September already!!! Life is going great. I'm so glad I left my shitty employers. I've no dickhead boss to answer too, no bell end client to justify myself to, no 60 hour weeks and I'm earning more money. The relief of pressure has generally increased my mood and behaviour too so it's all positive.

So today I have a rugby tournament. I started to play again three months ago, after not playing in 17 years due to a neck injury. What I've realised is.... I'm not 18 anymore. A full afternoon of it will certainly take its toll tonight, and I had to have an emergency tooth extraction yesterday too, but once we get the kids in bed later, I'll douse the pain with some liquid refreshment of the fermented variety.

What are y'all up to today??? Let's get some check-ins from you @Jeane123 @Hazza @jai04 @DocHolliday @Chris09 @Raddave @Subjeff @FiloViradae @leathalspectre @WingNut @yllekp sorry to any others whose user tags I don't remember how to spell

Good morning from an early start in the U.K. We just got back from a week camping in South Wales. We had a great time but the weather was pretty bad for a few days. We had high winds for three days that peaked at 47mph. Our tent is a flexible frame dome and pod type. It was pretty rattly in there. The rain was awful too. Some great memories were made though and some cracking days out; it was nice just to get away for a bit.

Hey @Jeane123, I guess most of the members of this thread are really busy, It's been a while too since I've been here and been a year since I purchased a rep. That has to end soon. All funds are funneled to my bike right now. Lol. How are you? @bkg! what's up?
