Was having a great lunch outside without the thoughts I'm usually saddled with (very distracting wait staff :) and the skys have opened up and washed away my zen moment..
Hope you all have a great (and dry) day ahead of you'

Still blowing out there. Hasn't been any real rain the past couple months so if it lets loose i'm good with it. Like the sound of rain to try to fall asleep too.
On that note, take care of you and yours!

Oh man, I know I sound like a woman not knowing what I want, but I am used to a snowy and a very snowy Feb and March.... here we have nothing on the ground and everything looks grim and dead. I sure hope we get some snow soon to keep all the crap covered.

I will say I am jealous of you being able to go and sit outside. It's been warm but not yet that warm here. Come on summer!!!! Jeane needs to grill and drive.

Have a great day man! And hope you all have a splendid day /night !

Good night from a miserable wet Ireland. We have had a very mild and dry winter, but the last few days are making up for it.

Good to see you in here Pat. Weather has been shyte over in the motherland too. Up and down everyday. Wind and rain. Where about in Ireland are you? It's not often I'm over, usually for work, in the north, and generally there and back in a day so pushed for time. It has been a while since I was in ROI, I need to visit again soon

It's been a funny old few days here. I've managed to get a good few back to back working from home days to catch up rather than constantly travelling. Start back out on the road again tomorrow. Family has been crazy busy as always. Time to r ad bedtime stories and get the little ones down. Have a good night folks

It's autum/fall here and the weather has turned... 27 degrees one day then 10 the next.......... Raing and cold today, perfect time to hit 2000 posts :)

Good morning/night to all the usual suspects

Hey brothers, hope all is well this fine weekend. Had a bit of a shitter morning here. Great day yesterday with the kids while wife was out at a concert; so I was rolling around in the family wagon all day no problems.

Today on start up, funny squeak from the auxiliary drive belt. Hmmm maybe the alternator clutch pulley needs some grease. Five mins later the PS goes off, computer tells me 'electrical systems failure - service required'. So I pull over, lift the hood and the auxiliary belt is off!!!

Hmmm start to investigate and the alternator has sheered clean off its bracket. Recovery truck home, now need a new alternator, probably a tensioner pully and new belt. Luckily it didn't pull the timing belt off with it or I'd of been totally buggered

Oh no! I hope you get that all squared away and glad the timing belt is still in place!

Hope you all have a great day! Here I am traveling again, this time again a short trip but with daylight savings taking effect today the airport was a mess. But all good and dandy! Hopefully this is a fruitful trip and I can at least get some work done today and tomorrow.

What are you all up to?

Safe travels brother. We don't switch to BST for another two weeks yet. Don't forget you've got a little reading to keep you busy on your journeys [emoji4]

Good evening all. Just wanted to poke my head in here and say hello. I see the last few postings were car related so I might as well share mine. Took the car in for an oil change, got a call back saying I need a $2k repair for something oil related leak. Called up my warranty, took the car home spending only $700.

Good afternoon all. Noticed a small ding on my Spectre rep. Threw on a seiko instead to give her a day off. Great sunny day here in my area, which means the lume will be charged later on.

Sorry to hear about the runaway alternator :-(
Asked my mech about this, he said to check out the wiring harness aggressively in case it was pulled hard.

I don't like cream or sugar in my coffee, ice in my whiskey or computers in my cars!
Goodluck with it, did they offer up a reason why it happened?
