just received mine from a TD.
This is quite bad right? the clasp not flushed or closed properly. is there any place where i can get a cheap replacement while sending this back?

Don't send it back.. search on the forum.. there is a very simple solution to this issue.. you can do it yourself easily..

managed to fix it not by filing but pushing down the clasp prong that catches the clasp.

what i did, was on the patek engraving portion of the clasp, the 2 external prong where the clasp will be pressed on, i kinda pushed it downwards to get the perfect fit for the catch to be clip on.

nice! glad that i helped. re-ordered another piece because i cut the rubber alittle too short

Don't buy a replacement from DHGate or anywhere like that. Pay the extra and get a replacement V6 strap from a TD. The cheap rubber ones don't have the extra two metal prongs like the V6 factory has (which is like the gen). My TD quoted me $69, plus shipping and transfer fees its about ~$100, but worth it IMO.
How does the gen strap fits? Is there an XS variant like AP. Share some wrist shot pix please. Thanks
i sold my first piece and bought another, i guess it's cheaper that way. I am aware of the metal prong issue.

The good thing is that with the latest A2824 version that I got, the metal prongs of the Gen strap are well aligned with the holes in the watch case, so nothing to do to make it fit!
I'll get you some pics later today
