GMF released a GMT 3186 clone movement

Just get two GMF straps from Li, a jubilee and an oysrer.. Or two warches if you can't be arsed swapping all the time , with the $$ youare saving over the gen you can do it LOL

I like my 116710 fine on the jubilee even tho it's not "correct " but like KJ2020 says people would swap out straps anyway. Some people put a jubilee on a Daytona which looks great too. . I happen to love how KJ's BLNR looks on the oyster, it is a in my eyes more harmonious and flowing design

I hated the jubilee on the Pepsi when Rolex first announced it. I thought it looked ridiculous and didn't care for it at all. Like 3 months later I just happened to be in the AD showroom and someone was picking one up. He was a really nice guy and we were talking watches for 45 minutes and he even let me slip it on wrist.

I don't think it took 10 seconds for me to be fully Converted to absolutely loving it. I asked the ad to put me on the waiting list. He laughed at me but he obliged non the less. And I still haven't received the call. Lol.

Exactly this. I love the jubilee- it's very comfortable (although it will grab a hair on occasion). and it has a slightly more upscale look to it. Great bracelet, I think Anubiis should be really happy with the watch.

Yeah I'm very happy. I've never owned a Jubilee so it will be a nice change. But you are right, it makes the watch stand out a lot more. Also the Oyster on this is a no go. Li tried to put an Oyster on it but it doesn't fit. Not sure which one he tried but doesn't matter, I'd rather spend the money on the VR3186 upgrade.

All aftermarket Hand I got was not good and far away from gen hands, also these from ebay are not for the 3186 the fitting ring of the hour hand needs to be the biggest then GMT hand -> minute - > Second

Is that a gen hand? Paint edge is pretty ragged. I've seen others like that. There was a video showing this same thing on a gen. Rolex's standards are questionable sometimes.

I wouldn't worry too much about replacing hands right away. Gen hands cost almost as much as the rep watch. You won't see that on your wrist. It's a macro shot thing, like many rep flaws. Keep an eye out for an ARF set of hands M2M. Aside from the GMT hand, it would be a nice upgrade.

Yes my sentiments exactly. I noticed it right away but I didn't say anything because it didn't appear that bad, but when Noleex said it was terrible I thought it might be noticeable. I'm looking forward to trying to mod this myself. I understand that the V9F seems to be the way to go right now as far as what a few people are saying here vs this one, but this will be a nice project if I can locate hands on m2m.

yeah the GMT hand is a gen, I have 3 full gen Batman handsets in right now, for member builds and all of them look like that, the paint ends of the GMT hands are ruff for real, this is what I tried to get on my hand paintmods too, but it’s not easy going to get it right.
the ARF paint has for real a better finish then the gen ;-)

Yeah you can see the GMF (batman) color runs a little higher than VRF (LN/green) which Aldo looks a little sloppy just in a different way.

I also had a few VRFs in that had an over painted GMT hand...

Bro I was shocked how good ARF's hands are on the GMT. Like seriously how frickin wow. Nicest rep hands I have ever seen. I've only has a dozen reps or so, so take that for what you will. But when I got my ARF my immediate thought was these hands, VRF dial... damn near perfecftion.
