What are your thoughts on GMF? Are you satisfied? I'm thinking of getting the black color too, but I'm always stuck between EWF and GMF. I would appreciate it if you could share your views here. It would be great if you could even share the photos.

I wanted the gmf op as well, then delayed, asked for the explorer ... also delayed, so here we are at the cf gmt batman

My EFW41 PO Tiffany arrived. Sized up and taking it for a spin today.

First impressions: the blue is mesmerizing. Fit and finish is decent. winding is cheap. clasp lock is a little weak. Sel is acceptable.

Biggest tell in all Rep Stellas / OPs is the glass.
Rolex did something to make the dial appear crystal/vivid clear.
You see it in this one and on all Gens.
Its like the whole glass got AR Coating.

So received my GMF A2824 movement today. Was recommended by a friend to go with the GMF

The clasp is a bit rattly. I have a BP Airking, that bracelet is solid and is near the genuine one, as I have the genuine Airking. The GMF bracelet is a bit light.
The crystal is not the best also. Am I asking too much for $350?

That’s a bit disappointing. I heard same complaints regard ewf bracelet.

I soaked my ewf bracelet in oil for 3 days. That stopped the rattling for the most part.

The clasp is a bit week and the edges are not refined. Not sharp, but not smooth.

Not asking too much. GMF is supposed to be upper tier quality. In reality I don't see any difference from BP besides cost.

Is the OP41 similar dimensions to the datejust 41, in the way that the fluted bezel would fit and maybe the bracelet. I saw on another dealers site that the gmf was on jubilee as an option. Maybe the ARF DJ41 oyster would fit? I have a gmf op incoming so maybe I’ll try it.
I always though the op41 used the same hands and crystal but with out cyclops as the DJ41.

Bracelet on BP Airking is slightly different than gen - look how bracelet is assembled with the clasp, there’s bo adjustment.
how does thickness of caseback on the BP air kind compares to gen? Isn’t it slightly thicker?
