Tried to delete the Post. Can‘t do that anymore. Sorry for breaking a rule. Was not intended to do so.

Late to the party, but i would like to share my findings for frankening a OP 124300.

I just built this OP 124300:
- Gen dial
- Gen hands
- Gen crown
- GMF 124300 v2 base (with VR3230 movement)
- Modified stock bezel ring (I reduced the diameter from 39.20mm to 39.00mm using a dremel, then I refinished/ polished it)

I had the chance to compare the GMF 124300 bezel to the APSF 124300 bezel and online gen pics. In my opinion, the GMF 124300 bezel is slightly too wide and the curvature of the bezel is slightly wrong. These aforesaid points make the GMF 124300 bezel look bulky, compared to the gen. However, you can make the GMF 124300 bezel look better by reducing its diameter to exactly 39.00mm. Please take this observation with a grain of salt because I don't have access to a gen bezel for comparison; I only used online gen pics. Also, the APSF bezel looks gen and it fits the GMF 124300 v2, but it fails the pressure test.

Also, the 124300's rehaut diameter and gen dial diameter is different to a Datejust 41. Avoid all 124300 reps that reuses Datejust 41 cases.

Looks good, I have gen dial gen hands and gen bezel secured for a build into GMF base.
Where did you find a gen crown and is it necessary?

Gen crown is nice to have and has a better overall shape, but not essential. I think the gen uses 604 crown (latest version with Teflon gasket) which can be found on ebay.

Here is my mod of the silver gmf op 41

Gen Dial and bezel replaced.

gmf anf the fat bezel along w lume shot.

the gmf dial is darker and lume isn't as good. I got both on ebay. There r a few dials but not many bezels so may just have to get lucky on the bezel but man I would rather keep the bad dial then the bad bezel. Its a automatic tell to even ppl that dont know about watches lol good luck!

Oh and btw the these 2 upgrades and silence the rotor its def a contenter for a nwbg!!!

Bro, I just did the same Franked and my crystal is sitting way too high vs. gen. Do you notice this problem on yours? Trying to figure out how to fix...

Over a year ago I put on a Arabic Dial on to the first release of GMF OP 41.
I managed to pick up a gen OP41 Black Dial. Was thinking of putting a Green Arabic Dial on it.... but now think I should go down the Rep Route first!

Thinking of keeping the GMF Base, but put on a either a Gen Bezel and Hands or use Bezel and Hands from the King OP 41. Any thoughts on this build?

Bored of the Tiffany dial, I didn't wear it much. I want to use the Green Dial.

But is the GMF version for the dial any good?
Dial and hands aren nice, don't worry too much about it. General quality and feel in hand are better than I expected.

This looks pretty good. I got the EWF but dial is dull looking sometimes. Photographs really well though, so maybe that’s the case with GMF too.
