I got no luck with my first one... Bad Lume on the marker at 12 and also magnifying glass looks very weird and somehow crooked.. So i passed this one; waiting for new one by Sead
Here. This should make it obvious.
In my picture is a JVS. Look at the winding crown. It's thinner and gen like. But the date window is farther to the left. (Also, the lug width is incorrect at 21mm, should be 22mm if it's based on the 226570)
GMF got everything right except the winding crown. It's too thick. But I can live with that.
Hopefully a gen crown tube can be installed on this. I already tried to use a gen explorer crown on the existing GMF crown tube and the crown tube is too small in diameter.
@TheDan772 you posted the datewindow comparison pics yourself, the window placement from jvs is noticeably different (relation to the hour markers above and below) as also shown by @CTbeforeLP .

That looks Very Good. I am looking at it comparing it to my Gen and it is very good. The Rolex crown isn't quite centered and it is slightly too close to the marker. And between the 18 and the 24 the etched "ROLEX" on the inside bezel doesn't match up with each tick mark , But you can only tell when close up. I would wear that to Mexico and leave my Gen at home.

The crown is centered in other photos, but good eye.
What astonishes me is not how good reps are not 100% accurate copies of gems but rather how closely top reps match gens. Instead of thinking of how there are very small differences, I’m really happy that we’re getting such great quality at the prices charged.
People can get really heated on these threads really quickly. What happened to just expressing information from an informative point of view?

Well, i think there is a little difference imo by thinking/doubting that a TD like Sead is showing a different factory than ordered and then recommending to ask a longterm TD again what Factory the Watch from QC is. Further on (after others have pointed out clear differences proving the opposite) still "thinking" the opposite and thereby further confusing...eventually from a member who registered 11 days ago...no offense - just my two cents!

@TheDan772 I think you exaggerated by putting doubts on the other buyers that their qc sent by their respective td were fake GMF and instead JVS, I think this is the most incorrect there can be. The fact is that you also insisted and instilling doubts and this is not good as if only your da jtime is the real GMF and all the others have been screwed. I support throughout Winni and those who responded by demonstrating if there was a need for it to be a real GMF rather than a boastled JVS. Now I have a doubt that is gripping me, I am not sure to give my ok to my td, I also ordered my GMF 226570 and in the qc everything is perfect but I seem to see a slightly dark spot on the marker at 9 o’clock, think it is an acceptable thing that in normal life you do not perceive or it is a defect for which to request a new watch? I would appreciate your feedback on my dilemma thank you!
