GMF Day-Date 40mm Tungsten Heavy Version

I have the watch caseback opened right here in my hand.
I don't see where you can put those lead strips unless the rotor is removed and then you lose weight becuase the rotor has tungsten inside.

Can you guys please explain where?

Rotor don’t have tungsten…
I think if Remove rotor is possible add other 3/4g…

Rotor unfortunately do have tungsten , that's why his leap is thicker

It’s not work for all ..my rotor work perfect,
Today remove rotor and I will weigh it I don't think it has tungsten…

I confirm the rotor has no tungsten, is 4g, same to my other eta rotor

For those that have had them a couple months now, how’s everything holding up? Any complaints? Any weight imbalance get annoying?

No complaints here. Got the YG green dial and the YG brown tapestry dial. Both function fine and the overall weight and feel remain excellent.

I don't have a reference back then, but it felt pretty solid and well made

I was thinking you could possibly add gen bezels to these as a franken for an extra 10g, that would take you circa 25g off gen weight which is impossible to notice by hand.

I have a gen RG bezel coming for my tungsten I can confirm rep bezels are 5g and gens are 10g.

I just purchased this https://www.ebay.com/itm/265825449805 to see if it offers more gen-like date than stock GMF. It does appear to be more bold (which I prefer TBH). Will report back.
