Anyone able to comment on the lume? Haven't really been able to pull the trigger on this due to reports of uneven lume and different colored lume application.
Seems perfect to me. (This is the V5)
Hope it helps in your decision-making eacesign:
You see the lume like 1% of the time, 2% maybe, It's the least of my worries. The overall quality is great and you either A: have to be in a dark room with a Gen or B: In a dark room with someone who REALLY, really knows.
At least with mine the Pear, 12, 3, 6 and 9 Markers math and the rest is the same. Looks like it should be that way and 99.9% of people wouldn't know any different!
Yes, can easily get it re-lumed for a cheap price to attain perfection in the eyes of the wearer :xj4:I agree with you, the lume wasn't a deal breaker for me, which is why I accepted it. Especially how so many Reps or Super Reps even have shit lume!
depends on what you think is cheap, you will definately pay more than 100$ for a good relumeYes, can easily get it re-lumed for a cheap price to attain perfection in the eyes of the wearer :xj4:

I'm curious about the black version as well! With all the focus on the red bezel version, it's tough to find a review/comparison of the black. How accurate is it compared to the gen? I know the blue bezel version is off, but I'm curious how the black bezel stacks up.
Could you post any more pictures of your black v5?
Thanks!!
I'm about to pull the trigger on a Tudor Black Bay Heritage but want to know how accurate the black on the dial is compared to gen. I've only seen the gen irl and the black looks a bit grainy, and not just a flat black color. Do the v4 or v5 have the same "effect"?
Also, do they differ between the one with black bezel and red?
Thanks! Great pics btw!
