really can't see the difference, unless its some kind of engraving or the metal bracelet

I'd really like to know the difference between the v4 and the v5 as well. PureTime's description in their newsletter doesn't really help either. I'm probably going to pull the trigger either way... as soon as the Chinese holiday is over, but I'm really curious if someone can see the difference with the v5.

I'm also wondering why there's still no Black Bay Dark rep? Seems like it should be easy for the factories to produce a PVD version with a black dial. I'd definitely purchase that too if it was available.

I've just ordered my first rep from Intime and got QC pics today. Only one of the face of the watch and the quality of the picture is not that high res, so difficult to zoom in? Is this normal. I understand that people who reject watches literally get them sent to the next person. One thing I did note was the the 12 o'clock triangle on the bezel was not exactly aligned. I've rejected based on this alone. Am I being too picky?

Yeah, InTime's QC shots aren't great. That's normal for them. But I haven't rejected a watch from Ryan yet, and they've all been great.

Curious as to which colour you ordered? Also which straps did they include? I noticed they're now including the nato strap as well. I'm not sure if that's the the "V5" or if there's something else changed..

That's tough, I have a feeling it's just the bad lighting. If you just look at where the lume ends in the 12 o'clock marker (the spots close to the minute markers on the dial) it appears to be centered. But it's hard to be sure with their lighting. I usually ask for a closer shot if I'm unsure.

Thanks very much, well I have asked for a closer shot, and it is odd as every other marker looks like it lines up perfectly. Plus I get what you mean about the lume dot line up!

Just got some additional qc shots and linear you were correct! It was just the picture, it's all perfectly aligned on the additional pics, so now accepted and awaiting the watch!

I have the red..from Ryan....amazing...you are right with the bezel from different angles it looks like it doesn't line up ...but straight on its perfect....just a warning I have had a blue sent back twice....get them to check the action of the bezel...make sure it's nice and tight...I had a very poor one could turn it both ways no click...other fault was a problem with the winder...so ask them to set the watch ...wind it and check the bezel.....but this said their customer service has been fantastic....

Well... what can I say.

I owned one of the first Black Bay reps (v2), and had to have it re-lumed, but fell in love with the watch, so bought a Gen.

To see if the quality of the new v4 was any good, I decided to get one since its on offer, and I have to say its flawless in my eyes, in some ways even nicer... I think the pearl on the gen is flawed anyway.

So time to sell the Gen I think (Ill put on here first if any interest, before the Gen sites)

I have the red and the blue ..the red was flawless...both from ZF factory ....bought from intime but the blue has been returned and replaced twice...once because the time setting was slipping and not working ....the second because of the bezel....it was so sloppy you could turn it backwards and forwards with hardly any click at all.....think it's just the luck of the draw though..the red one is perfection.....good news is customer service from Ryan at intime has been great....I've now bought about 7 watches from them ....this is the only problem I've had ...and they have resolved every issue asap.....new blue arrives on Monday hope for the best....coming with a PAM 328....I'll try to post some pictures ....but it will be my first attempt so I'm not confident

Wish they'd fix the missing petal on the Tudor logo on the dial. Small tell it is, once you know it's there it's easy to spot.
