He's right though, @mui.richard in what he said about the build quality I've read the review over on WUS where a bloke bought one at review price ( minus 60% off RRP) and compared it against his genuine 16610. Except for the movement he said it was on par with his Rolex.
Dam I'm really starting to like this watch. That gold sand lume rocks!

When I said, a load of bo**ocks I was defending the Steinhart build quality as I have 2. I was not pulling this watch down at all as I can't compare it until I have it in my hands. I did agree that it is probably better than the Steinhart as it is nearly 3x price RRP compared to the Steinhart.

If you're comparing to Rolex 5-digit references than I have no argument there...back then Rolex case work, while not bad, is not their strongest virtue.

But if you're comparing to the current 6-digit references and feel that they are comparable, then good for you...you just saved yourself a hell lot of dough. [emoji6]

I've tried a couple of Steinharts myself...while they are value for money for sure, they are really nothing to write home about.

The devil, as they say, is in the details. I'll let the macro photos do their speaking...the machining and fine brushing speaks volume.
