Gen Daytona vs Noob V1-V2 and V2.2 Daytona vs ARF V2 Daytona

Greetings gentlemen,

I would greatly appreciate some feedback regarding these V3 BLACK Dial pictures. (This is my first watch ever, so I am humbly trying to consult with the actual experts.)

My main considerations are:

1.) It appears it has the thinner "V2.2" subdials. I just want to DOUBLE check that these are in fact the more "gen-like" subdials.

Additionally, since these are some of the very first pics we obtain for the black dial v3, it would greatly benefit the community if someone like Mr Scott can sketch out some lines and compare it with a gen (or even a v3 white* dial).

2.) It appears to have the updated V3 bezel. However, is it adequately aligned? (What do you guys think about the white paint, to my eyes it seems a little thinner more "gen-like"?)

3.) It appears that the SELs are kinda rough, in particular the bottom one.... Thoughts on them and the clasp?

4.) Dial and subdials appears to have crisp printing, but the Daytona red seems a tad too dark to me.

Your TD has provided large, very good QC pictures...

1- It is an updated "V2.2" dial.

Additionally, I have already done comparison picture of a New Black V3 to a Gen earlier in this thread.

2- It is clearly a V3 bezel, and the alignment is correct.

3- The SELs are typical for a Noob.

4- Colors are very difficult to compare in pictures unless they are side by in the same picture with the same lighting.

I am guessing with the popularity of the new ceramic Daytona's Noob isn't likely to release an update of the 116520 with corrected font, etc.

Anyone heard anything on that? I haven't seen anything since they released them in 904 steel with some minor updates.

It's a shame.

Thank you very much for this really very helpful contribution. It's unbelievable how detailed these things are explained here. But when I look at the postings in "real" Rolex forums and the high resolution pictures from some sites like

https://www.watchadvice.com.au/1800/rolex-cosmograph-daytona-116500/

I'd like to claim that apart from a few experts, nobody can identify the rep I'm looking at here. the originals are far too different in their workmanship for that, or to put it another way, if you compare the watch from watchadvice to the posted watches in the "real" forums, 70-80% would be to be considered as a rep.

Random question, but does anyone know the approximate power reserve of an ARF Daytona (unserviced)?

Just got my QC pictures for ARF Daytona V2.

Already accepted the watch! Bezel engravings look good to me.

Daytona experts what do you think about the pushers? Are they still too long? I have no clue on Daytonas and can‘t see a difference between Noob and ARF pusher lenght anyway lol

I noticed the 3 and 9 o‘clock markers look like they are crooked, looking down. But then I searched instagram for a few gen pictures of the 116500 and even on gens they seem to look down. Maybe an optical illusion and my eyes playing tricks on me as the markers are near to the subdials circles :D

Anything else on this watch you would spot as a flaw? Anyway I already accepted it as I said.
Maybe the lugs being too round? The gen lugs seem to be more square-cut.

I think pusher lenght is fixed
here are my pushers arf daytona v2

I wanted a good looking OOTB Daytona and after seing some Noob V3 where the Daytona printing is still too orange I decided to buy the ARF V2. Also 688$ seems exaggerated to me for a rep. I can‘t stand Noobs price policy anymore. F*** them.
Also the better bracelet on the ARF and better dial, better bezel made me go the ARF way. The last ARF watch I had was beautiful and had a good weight and gen feeling. Something I missed on my Noob reps.
I will give the Daytona bracelet a babyoil bath and that‘s all.
Nobody will ever push the chrono and watch it for 1 minute if the subdial at 3 o‘clock works or not. I will never use the chrono as well so Noob made no sense to me. :D

Nah bro and i saw that people complaining about bracelet is cheap on noob,on my arf bracelet si amaazing so genlike and xpensive feel, and for chrono i dont mind,if someone want to start it i let him start and he wont wait full minute to see if its work haha, and now you have fixed pushers which is much better now, only thing i was wondering if thickness visible on the wrist
easy servicing 7750,i have mine non serviced 5 months from now and no issues,-2 seconds per day and very good power reserve (after removing deco plate and swapping rotor which is a must for this watch, also lost rotor loudness with this mod and it is very silenced)

Great. Thank you! :) do you also have any idea how long the power reserve is if you don’t wear it at all?
