Gauging interest for a APROO caseset

Sounds like an awesome project. Ive read through the thread, might have missed it, but is there a time frame on these cases, or when are some samples going to be released?

The casesets will be rated and tested to 20atm. The gens are 10atm, which I think is a little low considering the construction. We hope to be able to complete the casesets by end of the year, but it really depends now on the demand. If there's a big demand and we get a pre-order going well, then it can happen alot faster.

All this talk is so premature as we are not ready for any pre-ordering. But that is the likely route we will take because we don't run replica watch businesses and don't have access to unlimited funding. If a pre-order scares you, then please don't participate in one.

We are in talks with the forum moderator about going further with the sales of these cases on this site, until that happens, please let us just keep this thread going in regards to interest and suggestions of what serious buyers are actually looking for that is not available to the marketplace now.

There is a definite demand and shortage for casesets, now we just need to decide on the best way forward so that we can facilitate the delivery of this product without taking on a huge financial burden.

The original thought was that interest was strongest for gen like casesets, but demand was low, so the only way to clear 500 casesets was to offer some as homages, and some as gen casesets. That way, it would be easier to move these and make it a reality, not to be constantly stuck with reps that are 'almost there' but not quite. But now, what we are seeing are just some interest in casesets, maybe 10-20pc at best and almost no interest in homages. So we will need to continue to think this through and come to a more concrete solution soon so we can move forward. Until then, please let us keep this as a healthy discussion.

Rep crystals are the wrong dimensions and construction. The casesets will come with gen standard crystals with AR on both sides. One of the original intentions for this caseset was to provide water resistance and 100% gen construction.

But I don't think more than 20% is going to be accepted. I can get a house construction underway with 20% down.

That's a ceramic bezel that is unfinished and a CNC sample of the strap inserts we are working on. More stuff to follow....
