I can't wait! The case and the mods necessary have been the limiting factor for me. Sign me up!

Well,

the strap inserts are being modified now as the ap leather is very thin at around 0.2mm, and we didn't want our straps to tear at the edges, so we are shaving the inserts so we can have 0.5mm thickness at the edge.

the rubber parts are molded and in stock. The case is awaiting the four plots/lugs to do the fitting and hole drilling. The glass is being made with ar coating on both sides as per gen. The issue now is the pushers and crowns. The molding is bloody expensive, so we are looking at whether we will do the rubber parts separately and install them ourselves onto the steel parts. Awaiting some additional quotes now.

No, but for sure it is coming together. Once we sort out the pushers and crowns we will know for sure.

Creating new product from scratch is always very time consuming and have lots of unwanted/unplanned time and money wasting rounds.
If I see Z GP tweak is took him 8 months and still not completed. Quality job is take time. I think all we know that.

long wait money spent on other stuff. even the z gp is now take too long and getting boring. if j12 bring the gp then z gp is outdated

Honestly is evebody individual decision. The quality of product also questionable. Based on my experince individuals paying more attention for detsils, than sometimes manufacturers.

Will gen strap plots, gen crown and gen pushers fit properly without any gaps etc...?

Yes they will! One thing you need to note, your gen crown most likely won't fit on the LWO movement as the stem threading is different. However, nothing a little locktite/ epoxy won't fix?...

Yes the project is taking too long, I agree as well. Just that we never envisaged there being so many different parts that need to fit together. You also have to remember, we are really making it 1:1, meaning all parts can be interchangeable with the gen. AND we are attempting to have it all fit an LWO as well....... AND fit a A7750.... So yeah.... the problem just became 3 folds and wait time followed I suppose? The thing that is holding us back now is the plots. To make them fit 100% is a pain.... and many trials and errors here. But we feel from the last time things are finally looking positive. Just waiting for the final sample to be confirmed so we can finish the case drillings.

Then the issue now are the rubber pushers and crowns.... the investment is very high for the rubber molds. We may just have to bite the bullet and get these done, will know in awhile.

The GOOD NEWS for today is we finally managed to locate the hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we gonna have LWO compatible hands available soon!!! Man... happiest news for the day.

100% they will not be able to get to the level of detail we have so far........ if they do, hats off to them.

Yes, it's better to wait a little more and having a perfect product at the first shot! This can avoid us to have a quick release but not perfect with upgrades like V1, V2, V3, etc..because the initial product had flaws. Imagine the cost of the upgrade...
This kind of project must have a totally different approach than the current replica

Keep up the good work man!
