This thread will go over the build that I just finished. You guys can see step-by-step on how everything fits together and see the tools that I used.

Gen bezel, dial, hands, date wheel, crystal, and crown.

Bracelet 78360 (correct reference number for the 16570) is from MarkieMark and movement is VR

The best part of any build is servicing the movement.

Can you believe this?

I noticed the jewel was slightly cracked. When I put a slight pressure on it, the whole thing just blew up.

Brand new movement from AliExpress.

Alright, found one that's very close to the original. The jewel's center hole was a perfect fit for the gear. However, the jewel was a little too big as compared to the original....can't fit into the bridge.

We're going to use this filer to open up the hole in the bridge.

Pressure pressed the new jewel into the bridge. Perfect!

With the movement serviced, let's install the dial.

Gen 16570 dial.

Under the scope, the characters on the gen are super clean, sharp and well defined. However, I think it will be hard to spot the difference between VR and gen DW under the crystal.

Top gen, bottom two are reps.

The DW is used. ROR with the sponge swab is perfect for cleaning up the prints on the DW.

OK, I admit.

I am a bit rough around the edges.

I have scratched countless hands and dials. For me, the hardest part of the build is installing the hands. With these GMT builds, the hands had to be perfectly aligned or they will scratch themselves, or worse, scratch the dial.

Highly recommend getting these tools for the hands.

You probably will laugh, but I also installed rep/dummy hands on the movement just to get a feel of how everything fit before messing around with the gens.
