It is a decorated Miyota movement, and it looks like a decorated Miyota movement.
I am not sure about it looking strong or weak but it is what it is.
If you are expecting an authentic looking movement, you may want to wait for the clone 4308 movement to be released (which despite the name, I can assure you that there will be visual differences still)
On a related note I personally feel that the scantily decorated gen 4404 caliber used in the new ROOs look cheap and incomplete.

I quite like the look of the blue / grey dials!

stupid question why didn't they use the clone movement? i know this watch has a different caliber but it would be nicer than the Miyota

Everything will look better than the miyota 9015 caliber. I agree with you that the clone 4302 movement, albeit being incorrect, will be a far better choice than the miyota one.

The green looks like the dial/strap colors are off, and black looks like its bezel holes are cut a bit too big and the accents are too yellow (gen is more beige).

But the grey and blue look amazing, and I would totally get one if they shrunk it by 10% in each dimension...

So do you mean you want the watch to be 37.8mm wide? (90% of 42mm)

That may be too much. 5% reduction wouldn't be bad though. Honestly both the Diver and the 15500/15510 would be nice at 40mm.
Yes I do agree with you for this. I was just thinking the same a few days back looking at the watch in person (belonging to a friend)

While it isn’t obvious if this is so from the pics, each of the divers should have the crowns color coded to the dial to be accurate to gen. The grey diver should have grey ceramic crowns, the green should have green ceramic crowns and so on.

green would be my favorite from a gen standpoint but the color mismatch of dial vs strap throws me off
might try the blue one though

anybody ordered one of those yet? any QCs floating around?

I checked this with some gen pics and I don't think that this is correct :) the grey one has grey ceramic crowns yes but all the others have black ones :) I compared the rep ones and it seema that the grey one has a lighter tone of the ceramic crowns but I think gen is maybe a tad lighter :)

The gen “pristine grey” 15720 crowns should have a distinctive grey color. If you need to guess the color looking at the pics, it won’t be the correct one. If you have searched gen pics you will know what I mean.

The crowns on the grey ZF 15720 look considerably lighter than the black crowns on these images.
