I checked this with some gen pics and I don't think that this is correct the grey one has grey ceramic crowns yes but all the others have black ones I compared the rep ones and it seema that the grey one has a lighter tone of the ceramic crowns but I think gen is maybe a tad lighter

stupid question why didn't they use the clone movement? i know this watch has a different caliber but it would be nicer than the Miyota

Not only do they use a 9015 base - they also use their modified patek 9015 with the balance cock moved to the right. What a weird way of usage…

Probably clearing old stock as fewer people are buying their patek reps. And the 9015 is cheaper in production than the 4302 clone.

Yeah that's what i meant, only the grey crown has a light grey ceramic, all the other models have black crowns on various gen pics and I also checked the AP website

Comparing to gen pics, it looks like the green color should be halfway in between the colors on the rep. The rep strap is too green and the rep dial is too yellow.

yep, that’s totally true
from a gen standpoint green would be my first choice but if i end up giving this rep version a try i will go blue

let’s hope that they keep improving those in the near future… fingers crossed

Had the chance to try on the green one I would prefer the grey one or the blue but man this one was very nice as well and had a very nice and comfy fit on the wrist

I had this green one (gen) for a while, but yes, the grey is a better option, if you have the possibility to choose, so Id shoot for the grey one in rep as well. When they fix the colouring issues, that is.

I have to say that I barely heard about this topic and of course I am the same opinion as adidas to end this cooperation but as I have 5 pairs I would rather not throw them away because then I only have my boots left but until now I did not get any questions about wearing them, should it happen that somebody randomly throws a stone at me I will have a possible explanation for his reason
