Xing is pretty credible. But the Lemania is 17 jewels and all the latest Speedmasters are 25 jewels. So they cloned a caliber that's probably doesn't have any copyright/IP instead of the latest one. Doesn't matter for reps I guess, but just putting it out there.

Also people working on Vintage "holy grail" Speedmasters, even Omega has NO CLUE. This is not the Daytona, and the records are a mess.

Anyone claiming otherwise is a fake expert on Speedmasters.

A good think IMO. This gives one freedom in such a build and less of a concern about getting it "1:1". I'm personally not one who cares so much anyway, but I digress.

If it helps you, Omega bought a $3 million franken/replica. Even they are confused. There is nothing as a rare Speedmaster. Make your own rare one with a million mistakes and Omega will still bid for it.

The amount of junk on the internet on "rare" speedmasters is usually to prop up the value of the ones collectors want to pass off at the next auction. It creates a paper trail and publicity for the sale.

The thing is it was fraud from their own employee, watchmaker, and head of their Musuem..... so very "trustworthy" sources. If your own musuem curator said this watch exists, who would you trust? Haha
omega also wanted to hype their speedmaster to Daytona level by overpaying for it. It is not a Daytona.

Rolex Daytona is a great watch. But marketing besides (Moon versus Race), on technical and quality sides, Omega is also TOP NOTCH and at least same level as the Daytona.
I had 2 Speedys, both of them where Master Chronometer certified, 15'000 Gauss Magnet secure, and measured in all position +0s/day and 0ms beat error. Just saying.
As a Rolex Fanboy, Omega are underrated also. Except the knifelike bracelets, nothing goes over a Rolex bracelet IMO.

13,2mm thick and 42mm wide fits perfect.
12,4mm thick and 40mm wide fits perfect.

Making a daytona thicker or a Speedy thinner, in my opinion, would make each watch look less proportional.
Other than Moonwatch, Omega Seamaster PO and others are thicker than their counter part. Maybe display caseback and coaxial but still.

especially Planet Oceans... their GMT 17mm thick... the PO chrono is at 20mm thick 😂

Is there any chance of a FOIS in the event of this movement being realised?
Who knows but that one and the trilogy would be NOICE!
