Once there's a Lemania clone with the right sub dial layout, the sky is the limit.

Soooo many Speedmaster variants in 60+ years. I doubt Omega themselves have kept correct count...

Can honestly say I’m not looking forward to trying to put effort into spotting reps being passed off as gens though

This would be a game changer if the price is right.

I guess at the current rate of made up fantasy inflation in luxury watches (Saph. Sandwich moonwatch on the bracelet is almost 9k now) a clone rep for USD 1200 would still sell like hot cakes. Hopefully it will be less.

I just googled this to see.... the answer is NO... the Lemania 2310 is hand wound only and cannot be adapted to an auto.
There are plenty of similar looking Automatic Speedmasters out there but none are the Moonwatch.

But in regard to the hand wound Lemania sub dial layout without a date, you're of course correct: no automatic despite the 376.0822 having the original 42mm Moonwatch case.

As far as I can count 1 and 1 together, yes.
@xingpatrick mentioned visiting "the movement factory" and posted about RM Movements, DD3255 updates, so its almost sure it will be a Peacock/Dandong movement. Lets hope the best.

Like I said earlier. I will believe it when I see it. The rep game is littered with dead corpses of rumors of watches. But Lemania Movement is feasible 5o clone
