In 2016ish, you could find these on ebay for 4-5-6k, somewhere in there.Oh man!!! I would settle for an Alaska… beats the pants of the new white speedy
They are now $15k, 20k, couple years ago I saw them at $60k, so they've come down but, still slap myself for not jumping on one back then.
I'd probably need to learn how that's pronounced correctly in Cantonese, so I'd know when it's time to bugger off.
Allow me to quote Shakespeare, fittingly expressing the dramatic weight of the moment:

Although back in 2016 I bough my speedy for 3k so 5 or 6k would at the time be considered expensive.
What is crazy is how the prices have gone up.
I beat myself for not having bought a Steve McQueen Monaco (new) for 2.5k
Whenever I see these I always imagine someone who owns an Alaska project speedy needing to occasionally rock the full outer case for a day during normal activities (for extreme temperature resistance and shock absorption, of course)

Hard to imagine they'll be offered for anything less... but if the quality holds up, I won’t mind paying a premium.
