How beautiful is this! I can't belive that it took so long for this watch to grow on me.

Actually, is this rep water resistant? I mean would it survive if I take shower wearing it?

Hi, silicon gel around the crown, better inside crown-tube and around the backcase gasket and it should be fine. Cheap wp-test in the mall around the corner once a year. Others have used it for swimming. And shower: cold or warm only, mainly without changing temperatures, steam and soap are not watch-friendly, running water is fine.

^^ +1. Just don't skip the "WP test first" step... The cleanest, best-greased gaskets in the world can't help you if the manufacturing tolerances are out of range...
