Thinking of a new strap for my BFF!, some nice examples, thanks guys. Has anyone worked out the size of the hex screws? I have tried 0.9 (too small) and 1.27 (too big) so it must be imperial! 3/64 maybe, I have a tight one that will require the correct hex bit as it will not work with a T3! any help is much appreciated.

+1 on this, I also need to know what size hex tool to buy. Just ordered a strap from JohnG next door for the BPFF, so we'll see how it looks!

Does anybody know where this strap is available? With the racing holes?

Cheers

Very cool options but I guess nobody besides Blancpain makes the exact sailcloth/big holes strap in that pic I quoted :(

The only other watches I know have that have the same lug widths are Citizens and U-Boats. I'm sure there are others with 23mm, but looking for straps for those brands is a good place to start ...

So 2 top T3 drivers just arrived.... very very slight resistance on rotation then nothing... screw driver spinning away rotating freely (with out the bolt!) um.... bolt head still looks ok.... it appears also that the imperial sizes are almost the exactly the same as the 0.9 and 1.27 metric (if you can ever find them!) so what the hell size is it lol? maybe a TD can read what size is on the tool that fits them! should be about 1.14 or 3/64 which as far as I can ascertain do not exist! I'm probably work it with a filed down 1.27mm, but I'm kind of curios as to what it is, anyone sussed it out correctly, thanks for any info...

Might try and get some spares for the bolts... If I can source then I'll get a few sets as I'm sure others may have slightly chewed heads too...

Picked up some 23mm Seiko springbars just to be safe. And a custom strap, too :)

Springbars are the easiest and best You can do, specially as it has lugholes. Store the original hexbar away instead of wearing the threads of the special lugbar. 23mm Seiko as above will be fine, I have the reinforced Rolex gen-spec ones (cousins.UK) in just 22mm and they are perfect and solid as well, doesn´t move a bit.
