BP on the left??

Nop, that’s noob

Some differences I have noticed

BP; superb lume, great overall look and easy price point but (in my case) with a 2813 movement

Noob: feels a bit more solid, especially the bracelet and clasp, better movement

How good is the lume, how long would you say it lasts?

Few questions on this explorer 214270. I would like to franken with dial, hands, crystal, and crown. What is the easiest route to go once I have dial, hands, crystal, crown.

Bp with clone movement or eta clone movement.
ARF with the sh 3132

or just get the BP and genuine eta and cut the dial feet and have someone mod the hands to fit the eta.

I also read this whole thread detailed as hell but seemed like he had to cut the feet on the dial and used the BP case looks great.

any help would be great.

For me it would seem crazy to spend all that money and still have a relatively unreliable clone movement. Which would leave choice but to cut off the dial feet. Equally, it feels crazy to spend that much on a gen dial and immediately break it. Rock and a hard place. Keep the bp dial. Mines spot on and lume lasts all night.

Also, if you haven’t already got an ARF it might not even be an option.

That is to say, the lume fades but it’s bright enough to tell the time all night. Which is good enough for me.

Thanks I think I will go with the BP and ETA clone :)

Agreed, I tried to get an ARF explorer bracelet recently and was told its been discontinued. I wonder if the release of the new 40mm 224270 will see some different factories give the Explorer a new go.

I got a feeling that they probably change the bracelet to a 21mm lug to lug one just for the heck of it. So it’s not interchangeable with the older models.

Is it likely factories would bother creating a 40mm version considering 39mm is so close and already available? ...i.e. should I wait before I make a purchase? ;)

I'm new to the world of replica watches so would appreciate a little advice please.
I've been wanting an Explorer 39mm for a while and the thought of both having to deal with an AD and the high cost has pushed me into delving into the world of replicas.
What I'd like is the best quality replica Explorer I combined with the highest accuracy movement. If that means it's a little more expensive than some of the others then I'm okay with that.
If anyone can advise me which one to go for I'd be very grateful.
Thanks.

Today the most sought after is the Clean Factory 39
Before that the BP factory 39 was the winning bet.

CF more expensive with Rolex clone movement. BP cheaper with 2824 ETA clone

I haven't even read up myself on the new "Clean" 214270, but "Clean" (CF) is generally so well liked I bought the clean 214270 recently. Compared to my BP with ARF bracelet and gen dial, it is very very good. I would say the big difference is the rehaut (engraving around inner edge below crystal) I haven't read about the comparison to gen, or had a gen in hand, but the clean rehaut engraving looks nicer than the BP.

So, short answer is, get a clean 214270.

I have the CF and I also had a gen in hand at an AD (but not at the same time obviously 😅)

Honestly, the only way I could tell is that the the gen hands have that very slightly yellow tint under the light in the AD store, and the crystal seemed a bit more "invisible".

Out in the wild, no way.

Thank you for the replies and information. It sounds like the Clean 214270 is the one for me. Any advice on how to find the best TD to purchase one from?
