This case set uses the retaining wire. you will need a pin, or small screw driver to fish it out of teh groove to remove bezel

Eureka! Finally using hair a bit of hot Water and pushing crystal from inside the case

Imagine how stuck it was that a piece of it has stuck to the crack in the case

Now I see like a "plastic" in the slot, need to remove?

the same happened on my 1016 case.
you need to let the case into an acetone bath to take off all the little bits, else it will be a problem later

don't forget to remove all the gaskets
and remove the tube !!!

For the tube I prefer to wait for a tool that I have on the way. I have tried to remove using a file and not easy for me

Yes! I am not to use any polish until I have removed all

Lots of good info here. I’ve been looking at this case on Ali and now I’m going to order one. Just be careful as there is a similar case for about $10 cheaper but it’s got a recess around the crown tube and that completely ruins it.

no I do not, but it is the same as raffles 5.2 and 6mm crown as both fit

My case should arrive tomorrow. I can let you know then if the tube for the Raffles 8mm crown screws in.
