So, this (the OP's watch) is a steel case mold and will never be correct, even with a gen bracelet?

Who knows. What I do know is the Clean 116509 is gen spec and will accept gen bracelet..

All together just SELL THE WATCH IN M2M and take a loss of 50-200 like a man.

Then you will have cash for another watch and learned a lessen

Using the Oyster Flex or a nice leather strap solve that issue if you must, getting the likes of a Panda is fine as its just SS but still hard to get hold of as was its previous model the white face DT.

It will look like a Frankenstein that does not exist and eyebrowns will be raised on seeing a bracelet case with a oysterflex bracelet..

Friend let me chime in. I’m reading this thread about the weight and color tone from a white gold precious metal vs steel, and QF poor feeling bracelet, when I see in one look that it’s a rep from the wrong SEL.

116509 has protruding SEL. Clean nailed all the details and dimensions on the 116509 as it’s true 1:1 replication, including perfect bezel engravings. What’s the point grinding on about weight, color and quality when it screams replica at a glance. Just my 3 cents

Do I get right that you started all about the beacelet not bweing weighted and turns out that it is in fact?

they are in cheap feel and poor execution regardless.. as mentioned clasp quality and its weight and feel are subpar compared with Clean, you are right on the overall weight of the links

Regarding the SEL it was raised by another member on this QF daytona not being, I just shared a picture which shows how it is on QF and definitely different from Clean SS Daytona, my question is if this QF has the protruded SEL which seems yes based on last pic

I am waiting for XING bracelet weight and links and will post here as well, still not happy with the QF Daytona

Yeah the SEL is correct. Look at gen. Neverthenless i would sell if not happy with it

Not at all. it would look like the116519 model (which is the 11509 on strap, not bracelet).

No friend, that’s the wrong bracelet for this reference. The 116509 end link should stick out slightly. See the Clean pic below, it is same as gen

No, the lug sits proud of the endlink where it meets, there's a step from the endlink up onto the lug.



Unlike gen where the endlink protrudes further than the lug, there's a step from the endlink down onto the lug

I see, if the aftermarket end links are added. Now it makes sense, any trustable source for good quality Oysterflex and aftermarket end links? because seems like a very good "solution" thank you in advance

I haven’t tried it, but i know the new 12 series case is based off the 11 rose and white gold case. This may be your best bet, but like I said, I haven’t tried it. If you’re set on a 116519 using your 509 case, this is with a try IMO.
